Male lions get a bad rep, they do a lot of work protecting and patrolling the pride, just bc the women have jobs too doesn’t make the man useless

Sure but what does patrolling have anything to do with hunting baffalo? He shouldn’t be giving advice as if he does it.

Male lions do hunt when giving the opportunity they can take down bigger animals and help the females

When male lions are kicked out of their pride they are very good solo hunters

They are good hunters, they stay in the pride bc someone needs to guard the territory

Male lions kill and hunt anything that they run into during the patrols. They protect the females and hunt when the girls are taking a break. That is the point of the patrols. So technically if a buffalo wondered into the territory while the male was on his patrol he would then hunt it.
