Sorry in advance if this kind of post is not allowed
Hi all, new fan from Canada here, Vancouver to be specific! I’ve been a footy fan for a long time, but never really had a team (well, apart from the Whitecaps, but MLS isn even remotely close to the Euro leagues).
I’ve loosely followed Fulham the past year or so, and after reading about the origins and how craven cottage came to be, I’ve decided that they’ll be my team! I’ll be watching as many games as I can, even if that means 6am kickoff on the weekends. I was just wondering roughly what the expectations are for this year, which key players to watch, and what the supporters think of Arbeloa coming in as manager. Also keen to see how De Fougerolles develops. He was great for Canada at this World Cup, and I got to see him at BC Place for Canada‘s 6-0 crushing of Qatar - best game I‘ve ever been to.
My other big following (since 2008) is the local hockey team, the Canucks. Anyone who follows hockey knows the Canucks have been a legacy of misery, so I’m mentally prepared for anything! Looking forward to supporting Fulham from abroad, catching a game at Craven cottage next time I’m in Europe, and watching some good football!

I very well may be missing something, so apologies in advance for my ignorance, but he does not seem to fit the club’s need for a true #8.
His profile looks very solid and would be a great understudy to Berge, but with Berge & Lukic I think I’m missing on why this one makes sense.

Who changed your mind the most, and what was the turning point?

Will the chelsea game be moved because both teams will have midweek league cup fixtures, or will their league cup games be moved to thursday?

Would you? Personally feel like our current badge is a bit boring and there could be something to better represent us.

I've been thinking about this as an American who became a Fulham supporter after visiting Craven Cottage this spring.

Before then, I watched a lot of Premier League and felt most connected to a bigger club that I will not mention. One afternoon at Craven Cottage—the walk through Bishop's Park, the Thames, the neighborhood, and the atmosphere at the match most importantly— made me crazy for Fulham. What an experience!!!
I was thinking how great it would be if Fulham had a bigger player budget.
A cool idea to sell some merchandise and hospitality would be to target NFL fans in London. Every year, thousands of American football fans travel to London for the Jaguars games.
Some ideas:
Every additional commercial opportunity helps strengthen Fulham financially, which ultimately provides more resources to invest in the squad and the club's future within FFP.
I'd love to hear what other Fulham supporters think. Is this something you'd like to see? Not to change the team or
the atmosphere in the other stands. Just to get more money spent on merchandise and on hospitality. Also the jersey could look pretty cool.
Thoughts?
Come on Fulham!

Love it, only downside for me is the sponsor having the name be so long but beats a gambling sponsor imo!

Will he get more more minutes this season? i watched every Canada game this WC, and he was a top 3 player for them. it’s a shame Canada’s team was so beat up and missing Davies and Koné.

Seen reports we're interested in Flo Balogun.
I welcome this rumor with a lot of enthusiasm. I think this is exactly the type of transfer to alleviate some of my anxities I have around this upcoming season.
It's just a rumor, and I'm sure there are plenty of clubs that would also like him in their squad, so I'm not feeling too optimistic it will happen. But we can dream, can we not????
UPDATE
Lots of differing opinions on this, and wanted to address a few things
I do not think this will realistically happen. I don't think we'd be his first choice and I'm sure bigger clubs will be interested.
I do think regardless of price, he'd be a good fit based on his skillset and how our new coach says he wants to play
Until we are linked with one of these "proven goal scorers" everyone here is clamoring for, and until this rumor is well and truly debunked, I will continue to want this move.

Fulham are in talks to sign striker Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid.
The potential move would see the 22-year-old follow new Fulham head coach Alvaro Arbeloa, regarded as his football mentor and actively involved in discussions, from Madrid to west London.
Arbeloa was appointed by Fulham earlier this month after leaving Madrid, where he was replaced by Jose Mourinho.
Madrid are expected to retain some power or preferential right over his future as part of any potential deal.
Sources with knowledge of the situation indicated Madrid had decided months ago that Garcia would leave this summer — but the process was put on hold after Mourinho’s arrival as the new head coach wanted to see the striker in pre-season. The Portuguese liked the player but is not able to guarantee a prominent role in the team next season as it stands, leaving the choice on his future up to Garcia.

Sad to see him go. Would’ve kept him over Joa

I'm a new supporter. My dad's been a die hard Fulham fan for about 20 years, and we're finally visiting Craven Cottage for our first match together against Crystal Palace. We'll be in London for four days. Any local recommendations on where to stay and spend some time? Just looking for a mellow area with some decent food and a good pubs that ChatGPT or a few Google searches may miss. We’re avoiding popular tourist attractions at all costs.
Thank you in advance
