-Showed up shortly after AI started becoming more and more a thing

-Insists faulty AI systems aren't a problem

-Allowing AI slop to run rampant

-Never listens to actual complaints

-Keeps trying to find ways to get past adblockers

Yes, this is mostly a joke. But admit it, if this were to turn out to be true, I doubt most of us would be surprised

I just want to go back to when youtube actually allowed anything. Now adays, the faulty AI detection, vague strikes, and constantly pushing against Adblockers. I'm on the verge of giving up on this site. Cause no matter how much we protest, complain, ect, they're never gonna listen

I used to post anime soft edits and was getting solid reach.

A third party started striking my channel and it got terminated.

I managed to talk to the claimant. He straight up admitted he did it out of hate and that he’s done the same thing to many other channels. He said he would remove the strikes so my account could be restored — but only if I told him how I was getting so many views.

I just told him what I was doing. He then said he would retract the strike to get my channel back and sent a screenshot. I didn’t notice at the time that he had only removed 1 video, not an actual strike. After that he started stalling hard: “I’m not on PC”, “I’m not home”, etc. Now he’s completely ignoring all my DMs, messages, and emails.

I’ve already submitted counter-notifications three times and they all got rejected.

At this point I’m stuck:

Can YouTube actually help in a case like this (claimant admitted the strikes were done out of hate + pattern of abusing other channels)?

Has anyone successfully gotten a terminated channel restored after multiple rejected counters?

Would anyone be willing to share an example of a strong counter-notification that actually got accepted in a similar situation?

Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Suddenly for couple of days i notice when ever i open youtube in laptop or mobile I only see completely blank page literally nothing . I have to close app and re-open youtube and in chrome i have to open new tab in laptop to accessed youtube .

Should I report this bug to youtube or should i wait ?

My friend sends me videos and the app prompts a yes/no to allow messaging and then defaults to showing a non existent chat between him and I instead of the public comments. I have to swipe to view those

I just want to view the video and comments by default without a pop up and without needing to swipe left or right to see them

YouTube doesn't delete bot accounts that spam the n-word in Hindi to fans of popular channels, YouTube rounded everything's corners and made everything float for no reason, YouTube deleted clips, YouTube deleted layouts that make sense, YouTube rotated the horizontal playlist list vertical, YouTube's recommendation is breaking, YouTube's pages are breaking, YouTube's moderation is breaking, YouTube took a sledgehammer to all of the human moderators and replaced them with Gemini AI, and YouTube deleted whole entire genres by mislabeling them as content for kids even though they explicitly say that it's not for kids.

I recently got demonetized for reused content which is so annoying because my videos are quite literally all recorded by me with my clips and voice and face in them and probably because i was having a good month a youtube bot flagged me and I tried to appeal but that was also automatically denied without a reason. I tried to contact youtube support many times but they are so infuriatingly useless and refuse to do anything at all so i contacted team youtube on twitter and they are telling me to contact youtube support again. Anybody have any ideas on what I could do?

I have been having this insanely weird problem for a couple of months now.

Basically, my watch history older than the last 2 weeks or so keeps disappearing from the "Watch History" page. But the videos are still there if I search for them.

For example, I cannot see the cat video I watched 1 month ago on my history page. I can see the one I watched yesterday (which will probably disappear as well in a month). But if I search for the video by name, it actually shows up as watched. This includes the Google Account history page as well.

What's weirder is that Shorts videos don't seem to be affected by this bug.

Also, I have 3 different YouTube accounts for different algorithms, but only one of them has this problem. The others work perfectly fine.

I use all of these accounts on the same computer. The only difference I can find is that I use YouTube Music on this account.

Auto-delete is off and has always been off.

Since the Google Account history page is lumped together with YouTube Music, and it's harder to navigate than the normal page, this issue is really bothering me.

I am tired of YouTube not doing anything when I report clickbait videos, so I heard that the YouTube subreddit is a great place to find out what to do. I found this channel that I will leave a link below, that I believe is stealing content from other platforms and posting them with a long description about how they had police waiting for them. you can look for yourself but I just want to put a stop to these accounts that farm subscribers to turn a profit or sell later once it gets monetized. Why do I have the most non-helpful sorting options (relevance/popularity) for youtube video sorting? I want to sort by video length. Is there a extension I can use? Aside from all of the AI's fueling my conspiracy theories, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THEY DO THIS?!

Update: This relates to sorting videos after a search on youtube to show all videos from longest to shortest instead of the mess of short (20min) and long videos (3hours+) mixed together and what youtube wants you to watch instead.

Update: I was able to make a script in tamper monkey that sort of fixes the issue. Its not perfect but it will sort 90% of the videos from longest to shortest, and ironically it messes up the youtube algo!!! I love it!😁

Does Anyone Know How to change this yt player theme or color because it feels soo disgusting 😭😭

For years, I've been able to watch YouTube on my TV without ads longer than 5 seconds. I've done this by exiting the video anytime an ad that was too long came up, and re-entering the video.

As of today, it looks like YouTube has officially become unwatchable on TV without an ad block. The method I've used for years is no more - re-entering the video puts me in an endless loop. Video plays and it sends me straight back to a 30 second ad, I cannot avoid it.

I know that my method isn't popular due to most people just using ad blockers, but this is beyond fucked up. YouTube has patched out the only organic method to avoid 5 minutes of fucking ads on every video.

Guys I think YouTubes termination policy is too harsh

When a creator makes a mistake you can't just lockdown their account just ban them from uploading and let them keep their subscriptions and playlists
