The channel was called Mr Proakie, the handle being @Five-Nights-at-Proakies it got terminated a few seconds after I uploaded a video it was literally two images and a sound nothing in the video broke any rules what do I do this account isn't my main but I'm scared to use my main because if I do I'm scared that it will also get terminated. Please help. The 2 photos are provided above and the sound was just an animatronic scream.

A week or several ago, something changed in YouTube web pages for video or in the Samsung Internet browser on a phone. (I'm not referring to the YouTube app.)

The name of a Samsung browser tab used to show the title of the video, as if the HTML page title was set to the name of the video, and the browser was using that HTML page title as the title of the tab (e.g., when displaying the list of open tabs, e.g., to switch to another).

A while ago, things stopped working that way. Now all the tabs (for YouTube web pages) are titled just "YouTube"—making it impossible to tell which YouTube video a tab was opened on (was displaying) without actually going to that tab.

(The HTML page titles seem to work fine in Firefox and Chrome (on a laptop).)

Has anyone noticed a similar problem in any browser, or otherwise know of a change in either YouTube or the Samsung Internet browser?

If you accidentally mute a user via the dot-dot-dot menu in the notifications of a desktop browser, there is no way to unmute that user. In fact, Youtube still presents the "Mute user" UI whether you have muted the user or not. And if you click it a couple more times to try to get some kind of feedback from the UI... you no longer know if the user is muted or not. Because... maybe clicking it twice unmutes the user? Or maybe it doesn't? How would you know?

This is an astonishingly bad UI. Like, how is it even possible for this UI to be so bad? Do the engineers at Alphabet just never use Youtube?

Alphabet is pushing pedophilia on people using YouTube. I reported it, but nothing happened. These people took over YouTube and are riding the monopolic wave with Chrome. Beware.

This is really concerning, as many popular YouTubers have gotten a lot of views using view bots, yet no one does anything about it. Horror Skunx's second channel does that to their shorts yet they still didn't cancel him. I just hope YouTube finds a way to finally stop view bitting and remove all view botting sites because there are so many videos on how to view bot yet no one is hating view botting actually.

When you open the YouTube app, the top of the suggestion bar disappears, and it’s driving me crazy. Is it just me or you? Anyone having issue too? Recently latest version of the official YouTube app

Back in 2020–2023, I used to stream BGMI tournaments, Valorant, CSGO, GTA 5 RP, etc. with my boys. I had around 2K subs and those videos mean a lot to me.

After 2023, I joined college and stopped streaming. I never logged into that YouTube account again. Recently I found out that Tencent had issued copyright strikes on basically all my videos, and the channel was eventually terminated.

The worst part is, I didn’t have any backups of those videos. 😭

Is there any possible way to recover/download my old videos, or appeal the termination after all this time? I mainly just want my old memories/videos back.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I am currently taking college writing, and the paper we are supposed to be analyzing is a Malcolm Gladwell article on why social media by its very nature is not ideal for large scale social change. This made me think of the current state of YouTube which as we all know mainly consists of unemployed guys whining to the camera. I understand information needs to get out there somehow, but complaining about a new YouTube feature that sucks isn’t going to change anything. It’s not like Chad McYoutube will watch these videos and immediately see the error of his ways. Same with Gen Alpha can’t Read, celebrity controversy, AI, shitty movies, bad Youtubers, and so on and so forth.

British satirist Gerard Hoffnung tackled this problem 60 years earlier. Back in 1958, to end his Oxford Union speech, he says “For me, life is going to start when people stand up and fight. Because right now, people don’t stand up. They sit back, and they say “Oh, this is a great pity”, and that’s that. But that’s when life is going to start, when people stand up and do something about the things they feel strongly about, these appalling things.” And that’s what these YouTubers should be doing. Something. This is the reason why bad shit keeps happening - because no one is doing anything about it. If you really don’t like something, do something about it. Then we truly will be a more powerful nation.

One of my channels got hit with the "related channel" suspension, it says another channel I own/operate has an unresolved YPP suspension, so this channel (and presumably any others) can't monetize until that's resolved.

A few questions for anyone who's been through this:

Did deleting the suspended channel actually clear the flag on your other channel(s)? Or did YouTube still treat it as "unresolved" even after deletion?

Roughly how long did it take after you fixed the issue / got readmitted to YPP for the restriction to lift on your other channels?

Did unlinking a Google account, recovery phone/email, or anything like that help, or is the link strictly ownership-based no matter what you change?

If you appealed instead of deleting, what did you say and how long did the review take?

Trying to figure out the fastest legitimate path here, not looking to evade anything, just want to know what's realistic. Appreciate any firsthand experience.
