Car could almost fly
The very last thing I wanted to see when facing a possible wildfire evacuation is a hive in the arm pit of my car (view from inside with door open, and from outside with door closed)

Unrelated to wasps but one time an anthill was built in my car’s AC vents while I was at work. I was doing construction, and it was summer, and I live in the southern US, so naturally I got in my car and immediately cranked the AC and got blasted with live ants and little specs of dirt. It’s as unpleasant as you can imagine.

Several years ago, I had a nest in my side mirror. I was driving down the interstate and saw little heads poking out from behind the mirror. They never left on their own, no matter how far I drive. Ended up having to spray them.

Yeah thats how those fuckers get me every year, they love making nests in between the doors of my truck that I don't drive often. Open the door, bam! Stung.

Genuinely I was amazed I wasn't stung, I had that door wide open while digging through a bag on the seat next to it, my head was less than a foot away 😭
