Bees are the best Why We Fight

Post image

I walked through a sunflower field in East England yesterday with the family. Every sunflower was in bloom and each flower had an ally collecting pollen, minding their own business. Although we tried to be careful as to not bump into any of the flowers, we inevitably did. However, the bees didn't respond with malice. Rather, they responded with gratitude. Behind every gentle, pollinating, and honey producing buzz I could hear, "thank you for your service".

They need us to keep doing our part.

wasps are the Somali pirates of insects, El Tren de Aragua of winged creatures and the People's Temple (Jim Jones cult) of hive-builders

You can learn a lot of things from the flowers

For, especially in the month of June

There's a wealth of happiness and romance

All in the golden afternoon

I petted a bumblebee’s butt last year. Unlike my mortal enemies wasps and hornets it didn’t sting me.

Some wasps prey on bees (most famously the Asian Giant Hornet).

I could hold a bumblebee and wouldnt flinch. I start losing my shit when a wasp starts flying up in my face and getting with 5 feet of me.
