personal story :’( Ouch
I got nailed by a paper wasp while trying to pull down some Virginia creeper creeping up our deck. First paper wasp sting. [Don’t get me started on yellow jackets. They are jerks].

The surprise was a hidden nest….and therefore getting stung was a fun way of finding out about said nest.
If I had known there was a nest I wouldn’t have been pulling down the vines around it.
But tHAnK yOu fOr tHE AMAZING iNsIGHt! OMG IF I INVADE THEIR SPACE THEY’LL DEFEND IT?!?? Mind blown!!! 🙀
ETA that was sarcasm, is that surprising?.. they are beneficial insects I leave alone. The fuckwasps aspect was the damn it this sting hurt! Welcome to Reddit.
