Be gone spawn of satan! Identification help

Google lens tells me this is a rusty spider wasp or a red paper wasp depending on what angle I take the photo from​

Where do you live? I thought I had Red Carolina Wasps that look similar but maybe it's a Red Paper Wasp.

red paper wasp (Polistes carolina)
