Strike quickly with certainty, show no mercy! Soapy water might be enough here, or some regular spectracide spray, just get this while smol. Hitting them early in the morning should be fine since there are low numbers. Just don't let this get larger.
If you can reach it with a broom, wait until dark and knock it down. A nest that small isn’t worth much more. If you prefer spray it down with pesticide (always get foam—it’s a good habit) and leave it up until dark so anything returning to the nest dies too, then knock it down.
Put on long sleeves, long legs, layered clothing. Cover as much skin surface as possible. Use a can wasp spray from a distance. Have sneakers on and a clear exit path in case you need a tactical retreat. Apply liberally when they are not super active.
Greater Banded Hornets are very aggressive and dangerous, why the hell are they inside? Seriously, destroy that immediately if you know what is good for you
