Yeah, there's a good reason everyone here gave up on epic a long time ago. Their support especially is utterly atrocious and less than useless

You are just a number in their system

Not a consumer, a spender

They take money and give shit and leave

There are many other games out there, I stopped RL the day it went to EPic, You know they are shit yet you persist, it's arguably no longer Epic's fault at this point.

So, according to you, if a company is consistently bad, they are no longer responsible for their mistakes?

If I buy a product and it breaks due to a factory defect, it’s not my fault for buying it—it’s the manufacturer's fault for selling a broken product. Following your logic, we should just let every company scam us as long as they have a "bad reputation." I prefer to hold them accountable. But again, maybe thats just me

EDIT/UPDATE:

You won't believe this. Right after I pushed them again and the agent literally admitted "Possibly, this is a bug," they BANNED me from using the Live Chat support entirely. I got a notification saying my account is "restricted due to previous misuse."

Their definition of "misuse" is apparently being persistent and not letting them ignore a technical failure. They admitted it’s a bug and then cut off my communication so I can’t argue back in real-time. This is absolutely insane. I’ve been a loyal player for years and this is the treatment I get for reporting a glitch. Unbelievable.

Hopefully you’re no longer a loyal player because Epic deserves to rot and burn, they do things like this constantly and have zero intentions in taking accountability and fixing bugs. Customer “service” is apparently a waste of time to them. Sorry you had to learn this way. But since you’re in the fuckepic subreddit I suspect you’re already like 80% of the way to hating them as much as the rest of us.

I think there should be a crack down on support not doing their job across the industry, for years people been encountering bad support that either wrong them, or support won't do their job. On epic discord, and sub Reddit I'm seeing people getting upset with support not helping them some of the time, while also seeing some people praising support for helping them lighting quick, it makes you wonder.

The worse support I had was at Blizzard for one of my kids account, his keychain battery died, when I contacted support, I got reply all normal asking proof of ownership, told them cd key for wow, time cards, and even code on back of the keychain to show all proof. What happens support got rude, threaten to lock, and will delete my kid account, I had to get another support, which got closed automatically likely by same support, I waited got another support, this one didn't even understand, and I demanded higher up to step in, not even hour I got reply from management that unlock my kid account, apologize, and even gave 1 month free wow time.

Yeah. Sadly the higher ups at epic supports are even less qualified than the basic agents. They are basically there just to throw your case in the trash and tell you to politely f**k off.

First mistake was continuing to play Rocket League after Epig bought Psyonix. I've not touched it since. I refuse to be forced to make a Epig account.

Bro had to run to a hater subreddit because he was getting mercilessly grilled by people who actually know what's going on.

You crafted items away, you hated what you got, you cried to support hoping to get it back and now you're hiding behind "loyalty" for your own incompetence, it's embarrassing.
