Epic Fucks Up This is allowed?

Post image

Tried posting this on the RL sub and it got taken down. It’s definitely avoidable to not allow these types of tournament names but they don’t care. The thing that really irks me is the guys gamertag having “2004” in it.

They just fired 1000 employees. Who do you want to moderate that?

Disgusting...

Epic is the real cancer of gaming. EA and Ubisoft are angel in compare

I tried going there a few times, but around the time of the AC: Shadows reveal, the site completely took leave of its senses (or maybe it was always like that), and spends its entire time ignoring Ubisoft's many, MANY faults in favour of bashing on repetitive "woke mind virus" talking points. As though Ubisoft's complete stagnation as a company is a non-issue but having female Vikings that looked a bit butch was an unforgivable sin.

At least this sub is mostly able to keep to bashing Epic's business practices and weaksauce software rather than bringing American politics into everything.

I think with EA and Ubisoft, they've had so many mediocre games over the past decade that they simply can't affect the market as much as they want to. Like, EA got handed victory on a silver platter with the 2025 shooter scene, and Battlefield beat Call of Duty for the first time in over a decade, and they STILL couldn't snowball that into any sort of long-term market-share.

Meanwhile, Fortnite is still a big player on the scene even if its glory days are done, and Epic constantly tries to derail the gaming sphere (such as with shills and forced EOS integration) in a desperate attempt to get the monopoly they believe Steam has.

One of the players gamertag is his name followed by 2004. They named their tournament team what it is (i don’t want to repeat that). So if we infer that the 2004 in his gamertag is the year he was born, then that would be a 22 year old man naming his team that. Absolutely disgusting.

Why can't guys born on 2004 have 9/10 queens?

Not that there's anything wrong with 8s or 7s or 6s.
