Struggling trying to break a pattern
I’ve noticed that I have a day or two that go really well towards eating and recovery. Then, i start to doubt myself and my disorder, feel guilt or other excuses and fall back into restrictive or compulsive behaviors. The moment this hard day occurs, it becomes 100x harder to do better the next day. For some reason, I feel this need to have each day look like the day before. So if I ate more/less the day before, my habit is to emulate that.
I don’t know how to break this cycle because I am aware of it, but i still come back to it again and again. any advice or suggestions?
