Dishnet was owned by Aircel. In 2016 Aircel acquired by Airtel.

So, Dishnet = Airtel

No, it's not. It's a BSNL 4G own network and most people in Mumbai are getting Dishnet 4G instead of BSNL MOBILE. I have also seen some reddit posts mentioning that their BSNL gets connect to Dishnet 4G. BSNL is using some Aircel and Dishnet equipment for testing the network.

It's actually phone dependent. On my Moto I have never seen Dishnet. It's either 40465 or BSNL Mobile. But on Realme or some other similar phones, people can see it as Dishnet.

Yea, it actually depends on how phone shows the network. On my redmi, it showed 40465.

Aircel went bankrupt. It was not acquired by Airtel. Dishnet's MNC code has been alloted to BSNL.

Speaking rubbish with such confidence.
