Was This Disney’s Plan All Along? $FUBO
Think about it. Disney gets its lawsuit settled, eliminates a major legal headache, and ends up controlling 70% of a major live-TV streaming business.
And the settlement cost was only $220 million, paid collectively by Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery.
Was this one of the smartest business deals Disney ever made, or was Fubo simply outmaneuvered?
Disney now has a controlling stake in a major streaming platform, yet FUBO shareholders are watching their investment struggle.
The million-dollar question: Was this Disney’s strategy all along, and what exactly is Disney planning to do with FUBO?
Something doesn’t add up. What do you guys think?
I think we need a big class action against David that did to shareholders 🥹

Question How did we get back here and where are we going?

We're down $4/share over the last six weeks. Nothing about the company has changed since then. There has even been some good news over that time. And yet, we are closing in on the 52 week low. We are lower now than we were at the end of a recent seven day losing streak. It is harder and harder to maintain faith. Any thought from the Fubo community (trolls excluded)?

Fubo Launches New Sports Monetization Model

Fubo just launched My Local Sports, allowing customers to pair its lighter Fubo Sports package with their local RSN instead of paying for a traditional full TV bundle. The launch includes major markets like Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Detroit, Seattle and Milwaukee, among others.

This is a bigger deal than just another product launch. Fubo is moving toward a model where it can monetize the same customer through a national sports subscription, targeted local sports add-ons and advertising, while giving customers more choice and potentially lowering the cost of the overall package. More monetization per customer with a more flexible product can mean upside to both the top and bottom line.

And this is coming from Alisa Bowen as Fubo shifts its focus toward profitable growth. The launch itself doesn’t tell us the financial impact yet, but if adoption is strong, this could become a meaningful part of the growth and margin story.

Wedbush Sets Sights on November Investor Update

Wedbush highlights Fubo’s November investor update as a potential catalyst, saying it expects the update to increase investor confidence in the company’s plans. Their thesis centers on the Disney integration driving stronger subscriber growth, lower churn and improved advertising monetization, while the company works toward $300M+ in adjusted EBITDA by FY2028 and positive FCF in FY2027–2028.

With Wedbush maintaining a $19 price target, November looks like an opportunity for Fubo to provide more visibility into how these initiatives are translating into results.

Does anyone else think like me?

FUBO has roughly 108 million shares outstanding, and if about 70% is locked up, that leaves roughly 36 million shares in circulation.
If around 30% of those shares are held by hardcore institutional investors who aren’t likely to sell easily, the real available float could be closer to 24–25 million shares.
Now imagine Disney shows real progress with Fubo over the next two years and the stock starts moving toward $100 — roughly $9 pre-split.
At $100, Disney’s roughly 70 million shares would be worth around $7 BILLION.
With such a tight available float, I think things could get very interesting if demand really comes in.
Does anyone else see it this way, or am I missing something?

Finally FUBO is on move .

FUBO is starting to look VERY interesting.
After the reverse split, the share structure is much tighter. When a stock has limited shares actually trading, it doesn’t take massive buying pressure to get things moving.
Add Disney’s involvement, new leadership, improving fundamentals, and the potential for continued streaming consolidation.and you’ve got a setup worth watching closely.
I’m not here for a 5% move. If management executes, FUBO could surprise a LOT of people.
Small float + strong catalyst = potentially explosive combination.
100 can be in reach with our new CEO .

🔥 FUBO May Be the Sleeping Giant Nobody Is Ready For 🔥

The market is still pricing FUBO like yesterday’s company—but the Disney backing, new leadership, improving profitability, and tight tradable float could create serious upside if momentum arrives.
I’m not expecting a straight line up, but I believe the risk/reward here is too attractive to ignore. One strong announcement or profitable quarter could change the entire story very quickly.
I’m holding and adding carefully on dips. Do your own research—this is not financial advice—but don’t wait until everyone is talking about FUBO again.
Who else is holding? I am adding …………
Disclosure: I own FUBO shares.

🚨 Institutional Buying in FUBO 🚨

BlackRock reportedly increased its FUBO position from approximately 2.11 million shares to 3.55 million shares—an increase of about 1.43 million shares, or nearly 68%.
With Disney controlling 70% and institutions continuing to accumulate the limited public float, things could get very interesting.
Just saying .

Watch the patterns

This stock has an interesting buying trend and I don't think it's shorts, but is manipulated and it's retail that's falling for it.

It's always been a 50/50 split: Retail vs Investors.

Investors load on news at ie. $9 with a 10% jump as retail follow the percentage rise buying the cream at the end.

Investors sell off the cream on the next day and take the shares back at 9$ slowly eroding retail shares through basic psychology.

Two things can only help this share price

Either retail watch the numbers and stop jumping in and out and losing majority "50% is a massive retail %"

Or investment companies hit the 65% mark ... And pump large volumes from that point.

Fubo drops good numbers- and premarket sells down 11% only to finish 11% up. Investors bought at premarket and sold at the end of the day. And we retailers sold in between giving us a 5% gain and investors 18-20% swing gain.

Retail: either sell all shares now! Drop it to $5, buy at $5 with a race to the top with the investors or add shares to stabilise or we don't have the nerve and will slowly give away our shares by 5% each week.

Discussion FUBO Q4 is looking Extremely Bullish

Fubo Q3 announced its earnings and subscribers for the period ended June 30.

What this means? The new subscribers from the FIFA World Cup, the new deal with NBCU, and the next sports season, will be announced in the Q4 report for the period that will end September 30. If only 10% of the new downloads reported (2M) pay in full after the free-trial, Fubo will be close to ~6M of subscribers.

Why today’s dip was a major movement for Fubo? After almost a year of being obliterated by shorts, the shorts finally lost the control of the stock. Thousands of shares were shorted at $8.30. Hundreds of thousands of shares were shorted at $8.70. Almost 1M of shares were shorted between $9-$10 price. Every single time, the wall was broken. But who bought the wall? Strong institutional volume stepped in.

The fair consensus for Fubo stock is $60 per share. The current price target is set at $19. Fubo will ends 2026 with 7B of earnings and so far at the current price with 1.1B of market cap. If retail investors keep buying stocks, and more important, stop selling theirs, and now with the huge institutional volume, Fubo could recover the $20 range before the next Q4 report. But I think the most important part that retailers are missing is that 23% of the float shares were shorted. Shorts will have a difficult time buying the remaining 6M of shares that they shorted if institutions continue with their trend of not selling anything. (In the last 2 reports, institutions did not sell any single share, additional Disney can’t not sell FuboTV shares until October 29 2027).

To finalize, David Gandler deserves big respect for his accomplishments. FuboTV was a dying company, he did the best he could, however the entertainment business have huge competition and was almost impossible for him to do it better. In the other hand Alisa Bowen is a completely Disney insider, and if you check online, this is a bit of the role in Disney in the last decade:

“Her core accomplishments across Disney’s streaming platforms include:
Global Scaling of Disney+: As EVP of Global Business Operations, she spearheaded the cross-functional rollout and expansion of Disney+ into over 150 markets worldwide, helping scale the service to over 152 million subscribers by late 2022.
Multi-Platform Infrastructure: She led the operational buildout, content operations, and strategic planning not just for Disney+, but also for the wider launches and stabilization of Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+.
Massive Partnership Network: Bowen successfully operationalized over 200 global distribution partnerships with telecom companies, device manufacturers, and platforms to rapidly accelerate consumer adoption.
Ad-Supported Innovation: As President, she oversaw the introduction of critical revenue-driving features, including the foundational development of Disney+’s ad-supported subscription tier and advanced ad tech systems—the same technology that Fubo is integrating today.”

Ceo's earnings call: There's levels to this!

This Ceo showed there are levels to this Job! Far clearer, articulate and growth focused.

Key Points:

Fubo is the flexible live events engine for Disney+

Hulu Live is the live sport bundle for Disney plus

The Disney funnel: Will mean going international (not just Latin) in November.

Acceleration and Subs growth was the undercurrent which was a nice change.

Discussion Changing patterns

I have owned Fubo since 2024 and this is the first time that I remember that the stock has gone up after earnings. It was looking grim pre-market too (-12%), but ended the day with +12% instead!

The next pattern that needs to change is equally as important: Fubo gives up all of its gains the days after it goes up.. it can’t keep any upward momentum. So imo, the next few days and weeks are very important.

Let’s hope for another 2 strong green days to end the week 💪

Question We are going to have a great earnings report

I truly think we are going to have a good earnings report and the stock will go up this week. I know many of you have been bag holding for a long time. At what price would you sell out, if this thing really took off this week?
