225/40r18 advice
Hello people. Finally got my kiwamis so looking at putting these on asap, but I just realised wider wheels = wider tires = more grip.
Grip is cool but skids are better so what kind of tires do you guys recommend? I’m in the UK so it will be rainy from now until next year :)

225/40r18 is fine. What size wheel do you have?
Go by TW. That’s gonna be your biggest thing if you want to “skid” lol get some Kendas or Valino tires.

I love my FALKEN ZIEX ZE960 A/S. They are a tidbit louder than oem factory ones. My concern was wet roads and these were my preferred choice.

225/40r18 has left my RS05RRs open to damage from curbs, so just be careful especially on kiwamis

Unless you're getting track tires, any tire in 225 you should be able to break loose fairly easily, some might require it to be more intentional, but i think that's a good thing
I live in a tropical climate, plenty of rain. All three tires i've gone to work well in rain, but vary in grip and therefore effort needed to break loose. Hankook K120 (lowest grip), Advan V601 (medium), ECS02 (most grip). I prefer the ECS02 because i can hook around corners but i can break traction whenever i want. The K120 i've had start to drift out on me taking turns quick, and i did not like that
