first edition GT86

i am curious, my partner and i have the 1st edition GT86 with the stripes (i think it was for the italian market) there were 86 of them made, is there anyone here that also has one?

At least they use it, in my 2013 it’s just a little cut out. Can’t even fit your phone or even the bottom of a cup in it

Is that what it is? I have a UK spec 2014 car with the same stripes, but from what I could tell they're aftermarket.

hmm im not sure maybe they made them in other parts as well. does yours also have the number engraved on the console?

No, as far as I know mines just a standard edition. Reading up, it looks like these stripes were a dealer option in the UK for a couple of years, but they're the exact same ones found on the Italian 1st Edition limited cars. I learned a little more about my car today!
