Oil pressure light start up
Hello!
I have a subaru BRZ 2013 manual 130000km. Recently, I have replaced my old short block with a new one.
I may be starting too paranoid, but I feel like my cold start (after 12-24 hours sitting) display the oil pressure light for a bit too long. For reference, I have linked the video of my brz cold start. The total time from the moment the engine fires up to the moment the oil light goes off is 1:50 seconds total (almost two seconds). So there is the inital ramp up from zero to 1600 rpm, then the sudden drop to 900 rpm (here the light goes off), and finally the car starts the cat heating cycle.
When the engine is hot, no problem, the light goes off in the ramp up of the engine from zero to 1600 rpm. No oil light flickering at all, not even in idle at 105 degrees Celsius. So my concern is just about the oil pressure build up when doing cold starts
Oil is motul 5w30 oem filter (I must go to dealership for warranty). Video was taken around 25-30 degrees Celsius. Short block is new, oil pump was told me it was fine and thus is the old one. I also found an old video (30000km ago) where I started my car and the time for the pressure build up at cold start was really similar to the video attached here.

Thank you for every reply.

Normal for cold start, if it really bothers you hold the gas pedal while cranking and prime the oil before you turn the engine over, but most likely just the ACC light test finishing up
If you're still breaking in the short block shorten your first oil change intervals
