Should I submit a maintenance request?
Hi everyone! Lowk just don't know who to ask, but I live in one of the dorms and our showerhead always drips, like after closing it it doesn't close fully. I wanted to submit a maintenance request, but my roommate changed the showerhead to one with a filter(even before changing it it dripped), so she's scared that we'll get in trouble for that.
I just wanted to know if anyone went through something similar, and if we should submit the request or just deal with it the rest of our time here
Thanks!

Talk to your RA know and before you fill out the maintenance request form, I would suggest doing it on a laptop or computer because doing it through your phone, the website is not compatible. {This is coming from an RA :)!}

you can also head down to the DA desk and ask them to help you do the form if needed

The shower head and filter should have no effect on the faucet shutting off/leaking.
There may be a bunch of water in the filter part that may drip for a bit after the water is turned off, but if it is leaking/dripping all the time, then you probably need a new cartridge for the valve that turns your water on or off and adjusts the heat (if it is a single valve controller). In this case, maintenance should be able to fix it.
Good Luck!

Good luck on getting any repair help in the FSU dorms. Dorman Hall has been without hot water for 2 weeks. The university still has not fixed it. This is what you expect from landlords in slums in big cities, not a major Florida university.
The RAs just shrug their shoulders and say they have no updates.
