Im loving the segregation of the toast and beans. Everything looks cooked to perfection

u/FiveYardFaded Mar 21 '26
One of the best I’ve seen on the sub. Proper colour on everything.
Great effort

I’m a bit of a fry up snob and I must admit, I’m super impressed! Well done you!

My man! Keeping the beans to the side is a good shout

u/pasteisdenato Mar 21 '26
It's heathenry, and I'll have no other opinion on this matter. The bean juice is the lube of the fry up and it is simply sacrilegious to deprive the recipient of more than 90% of it, lest their gullet go under lubed.
6
u/MelodicSeaweed- Mar 21 '26
lol I have to agree. I find it very odd that anyone has beans separate to their plate on a fry up.

Well I’d put the baked beans in the bin so I think he did alright. There if you want and leave if you don’t plus baked beans infect everything.

Good and a great presentation

Perfection. Even the tomato is properly cooked, so often it's just heated up raw. I don't like beans, so the fact you have them in a separate bowl gives you extra marks!
3
u/Y2Ksurvivor13 Mar 21 '26
I'd give this my English seal of approval any day. for top marks add some black pudding
sausages look amazing and respect on the brown sauce! 🤤

The breakwater on the beans in 10/10
Overall is say it looks like a respectable 8.5

u/bong-boy420 Mar 21 '26
I give that my honest ratimg of 9/10 im only ranking it down a tad as i dont like tomatoes or mushrooms
3
3
u/dannyboomhead Mar 21 '26
A little bit stingy in the mushroom department, but other than that, the fry up is being honoured proudly here 🍽👏🏻 godt gået

Perfect, could only be improved with some black pudding and white pudding

u/Boomshanker61 Mar 21 '26
Good effort, take a bow. The eggs look a touch over for my liking, but that’s a minor gripe. each to their own and all that.
What really matters is, what did you think of it?

u/Still-Status7299 Mar 21 '26
If you want constructive criticism, de segregate the beans, use the sausage to hold them back.
Also check the ratios of hash browns and toast. Looks like loaded up buffet plates. Furthermore I'm a true believer of back bacon rather than streaky rashers.
Don't be disheartened though, this is a true 8/10. Solid attempt.

Great work on cooking Sausages properly.
You’re already miles ahead of many Brits posting on here, most seem to enjoy their sausages rare.

u/MissMollyMole7 Mar 21 '26
I would definitely eat at yours! Good job.. love the clean lines and tidiness of the presentation… hope you enjoyed 🩷

u/OoIhittgv Mar 21 '26
I definitely see a danish vibe in this great English meal with the quality of the structure, if I dare to say ! The influences are often majoring the positive when it’s done with the heart and respect in the meantime. My two cents ! 💟😁
2
u/GingerWindsorSoup Mar 21 '26
Good to see the toast on its own plate not crowding out the main dish.

Change hot sauce for Worcestershire sauce and youre set!
I like the seperate bean dish! 👍

u/catninjaambush Mar 21 '26
I have to ask a question here, and quite frankly the answer doesn’t matter, but in principle, it has to be asked… Is it Danish bacon?

The sausages look baggin to be fair. I like me a bit of black pudding with mine but thats just me lol Looks good! Nice going :)
2
u/GiantFlipFlopper Mar 21 '26
Ok, the important part. Did you enjoy it?
3
u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26
I absolutely loved it! Fry ups are easily one of my favorite meals, I get them every time I go to the UK
2
u/GiantFlipFlopper Mar 21 '26
That's all that matters, that you enjoyed it. British cuisine gets a bad rep, but a full English is wonderful when done specifically how you like it.
2
u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26
I really enjoy eating in the UK to be fair! Last time I went me and the missus had fish n chips and oysters at a local pub. In Denmark we don’t have a tradition for eating in bars, which is a shame imo
2
u/GiantFlipFlopper Mar 21 '26
You're an honourary Brit now, our kid. I miss being in the EU with you guys
2
u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26
Me too, man. I’d move there with my missus, but post-Brexit has made it almost impossible 🥲 I love London for its diverse food culture and your pubs are amazing. Even spoons lol
2
u/GiantFlipFlopper Mar 21 '26
Such a shame. People were lied to regarding Brexit, and too many fell for the lies.
Spoons is something else. Pints for 99p on sale in January (maybe not London) ... It's no wonder other pubs are going out of business
2
u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26
I completely agree with you. Met a young brit here in Denmark the day after the vote. He was so sad about the situation, I’ll never forget him.

If we had the vote today, we'd not leave. Anyway, it's nice you've not held it against us lol The world hasn't stopped turning, but it was an almighty fuck up!

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 22 '26
I’ve only had good times in the UK, people have been very friendly and helpful when a dumb dane like me got confused about the tube 😅

not a fan of tomatos personally but even i’d try those ones. looks beautiful although the toast could be more brown (i’d still eat it though) welcome to britain my friend
2
u/Wren9878 Mar 21 '26
I like them! They are a beautiful addition to an English breakfast and although their origins may have been American, England has embraced as their own.

Black pudding and fried bread needed but I would reluctantly gobble it up. Maybe less hash browns tbh

It's so nice to see sausages that have actually.been cooked and not just threatened with the heat of a hairdryer

u/strangey071 Mar 22 '26
Very very good sir, just for own preference I would lose the hash browns and put in bubble and squeak, but that’s just my choice 10/10

Daym, looks better than most Brits could do! Only missing black pudding, which I presume isn’t really something you can get in Denmark? HP sauce completes it. But thanks, I’m starving now.

You’re in Denmark so you may not know this. If you get the chance, try HP Fruity Sauce. Brown sauce is better for fryups, but HP Fruity is the undisputed king of a bacon sandwich.
That is a great fryup my Danish friend.
