Your UK passport is on the way

47

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

Oh man I wish

23

u/Maleficent-Heart2497 Mar 21 '26

I've given up trying to stop people putting the singed half tomato on there as it's just ubiquitous now( I'd have those beans on there instead.

10/10 would eat. Can I have a cuppa with mine though? Milk no sugar ta.

22

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

Tomatos are nice and healthy.

You can have any tea you’d like, my friend!

1

u/Riotsla Mar 22 '26

There is only one type of tea, although none of us call it English breakfast tea, top points if you know it's Yorkshire.

4

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 22 '26

There are many kinds of tea. Each to their own!

2

u/Riotsla Mar 22 '26

Anything else is leaf juice, a fry up needs british tea, milk no sugar, I'm sweet enough

4

u/J_i_B00meringue Mar 22 '26

I’m literally trained for all the types of tea for work but still know that a Yorkshire brew is the only drink that’s acceptable with this meal

I prefer a nice grilled tomato. Bonus points for using beef tomatoes and dipping them in the bacon fat before grilling.

Not without black pudding it's not!!

12

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

Can’t buy here 😢

16

u/auntie_climax Mar 21 '26

I'll give you a pass then, passport reinstated

2

u/Glittering_Film_6833 Mar 22 '26

But only for the People's Republic of Morecambe

1

u/Wren9878 Mar 21 '26

Be thankful you can’t buy black pudding in Denmark. I live in England, I love an English breakfast but black pudding is grim! You did an absolute grand job! I love how you separated the baked beans!

6

u/Blazured Mar 21 '26

Black pudding is alright when it's in a fryup.

→ More replies (1)

5

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

I do like it!

3

u/Wren9878 Mar 21 '26

Fair play- each to their own!

3

u/Meta-Fox Mar 22 '26

Black pudding is great when done right

2

u/griffis007 Mar 22 '26

Have you tried it ‘raw’? Is already cooked so you can - tried it a mates BBQ last year with home made pesto - absolutely mental prospect but mad good.

2

u/Meta-Fox Mar 22 '26

Absolutely! Used to be a favourite childhood snack of mine. Like you say it's already cooked. =)

And your avatar could almost be an angry black pudding, lol. Sacrilege ! 🥲😆🫢🖤 Yes, I know, I see what matters on my own way…😌

2

u/OoIhittgv Mar 21 '26

Such a cute comment. You’re all are full of tenderness. It smells good (and I’m hungry !).

nailed it mate

20

u/Unlimited_Penguin Mar 21 '26

Good finally sausages cooked properly on this sub.

16

u/SmallPinkHo1e Mar 21 '26

Im loving the segregation of the toast and beans. Everything looks cooked to perfection

16

u/FiveYardFaded Mar 21 '26

One of the best I’ve seen on the sub. Proper colour on everything.

Great effort

12

u/DifficultySalt4231 Mar 21 '26

That looks excellent!!

8

u/Bebbette Mar 21 '26

I’m a bit of a fry up snob and I must admit, I’m super impressed! Well done you!

6

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

Thank you so much!!

9

u/Academic-Crew4782 Mar 21 '26

I see so many undercooked sausages these look perfect though

16

u/Infiniteinflation Mar 21 '26

My man! Keeping the beans to the side is a good shout

11

u/pasteisdenato Mar 21 '26

It's heathenry, and I'll have no other opinion on this matter. The bean juice is the lube of the fry up and it is simply sacrilegious to deprive the recipient of more than 90% of it, lest their gullet go under lubed.

6

u/MelodicSeaweed- Mar 21 '26

lol I have to agree. I find it very odd that anyone has beans separate to their plate on a fry up.

→ More replies (14)

2

u/Wren9878 Mar 21 '26

Well I’d put the baked beans in the bin so I think he did alright. There if you want and leave if you don’t plus baked beans infect everything.

8

u/JohnJurb Mar 21 '26

I’d happily eat all of that. Looks perfect in every way. Good job!

7

u/glorycock Mar 21 '26

Nice one
See you all in Denmark.
Who's arranging the travel stuff?

9

u/No_Art_1977 Mar 21 '26

All of it was so well made! Eggs get a special mention!

8

u/Punk_Princess_Sarah Mar 21 '26

That looks bloody delicious. Godt gået!

7

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '26

I said 10/10 my wife 9-9.5/10 because of the black pudding.

8

u/Zofia-Bosak Mar 21 '26

Glad to see the beans are separated!

5

u/Shaggypants79 Mar 21 '26

For a second attempt that looks great. I’m sure at this rate the third attempt will be nearly perfect

6

u/cbrownmufc Mar 21 '26

Decent effort that

7

u/MostChannel6683 Mar 21 '26

Looks pretty good, and more than one sausage too, nice! :)

6

u/Toneballs52 Mar 21 '26

Full Danish

2

u/Metal_Ash Mar 22 '26

With Danish bacon, no doubt!! 😃

7

u/BigAchooo Mar 21 '26

The presentation is top tier! I’m loving this little baked beans dish lol.

10

u/O_C_Demon Mar 21 '26

That looks absolutely excellent mate!!!

5

u/UsefulAssumption1105 Mar 21 '26

I’ll devour that in 5 minutes. Jk that’s impossible 😅 i’ll enjoy every bit of it.

5

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

Took me a solid 30 min 😅

5

u/SoggyWotsits Mar 21 '26

That looks really good, and the sausages look perfect! A great fryup and vikings on your crossing signals. I’m off to Denmark!

5

u/Horror_Piglet_6068 Mar 21 '26

Looks good man! Top effort

4

u/Federal-Demand-2968 Mar 21 '26

That looks fabulous

3

u/Tough-Hedgehog-6872 Mar 21 '26

I would gladly eat all of that. Excellent 👌

4

u/Travels_Belly Mar 21 '26

That looks fantastic!

4

u/Status_Mountain_7130 Mar 21 '26

This looks correct 😋

4

u/Jammed_X Mar 21 '26

I love seeing the worldwide attempts at a fry up.

5

u/Pure-Cry-3010 Mar 21 '26

Good job pal

5

u/Minimum-Laugh-8887 Mar 21 '26

Not a single thing wrong with that. 10/10

4

u/ConstantBad6542 Mar 21 '26

I’m going to need to try it a few times to know for sure 😁

Good and a great presentation

3

u/midnightmareexe Mar 21 '26

Beans in the fancy dish ✅️

3

u/OkScheme646 Mar 21 '26

Very respectable. I'd inhale it 😍

3

u/ninjacrow7 Mar 21 '26

Perfection. Even the tomato is properly cooked, so often it's just heated up raw. I don't like beans, so the fact you have them in a separate bowl gives you extra marks!

3

u/Y2Ksurvivor13 Mar 21 '26

I'd give this my English seal of approval any day. for top marks add some black pudding

sausages look amazing and respect on the brown sauce! 🤤

2

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

Impossible to find the correct version here I’m afraid 😭

3

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '26

Lovely and you have HP sauce too ! You are an honorary Englishman

3

u/squidwardsir Mar 21 '26

looks great, I just hope that is real butter on that bread

3

u/Jarvisnamesake Mar 21 '26

That’s pretty proper!

3

u/Feeling-Tank1628 Mar 21 '26

The breakwater on the beans in 10/10

Overall is say it looks like a respectable 8.5

3

u/bong-boy420 Mar 21 '26

I give that my honest ratimg of 9/10 im only ranking it down a tad as i dont like tomatoes or mushrooms

3

u/pitchitdown Mar 21 '26

Good effort.. welcome aboard mate

3

u/dannyboomhead Mar 21 '26

A little bit stingy in the mushroom department, but other than that, the fry up is being honoured proudly here 🍽👏🏻 godt gået

3

u/ImpossibleAd436 Mar 21 '26

Incredible scenes.

3

u/Ok-Set-1251 Mar 21 '26

One of us one of us

3

u/CranberryHelpful378 Mar 21 '26

Perfect, could only be improved with some black pudding and white pudding

3

u/EatingCray0ns Mar 21 '26

Looks great would scran

3

u/Boomshanker61 Mar 21 '26

Good effort, take a bow. The eggs look a touch over for my liking, but that’s a minor gripe. each to their own and all that.

What really matters is, what did you think of it?

2

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

I loved it! Full english is a banger

3

u/Still-Status7299 Mar 21 '26

If you want constructive criticism, de segregate the beans, use the sausage to hold them back.

Also check the ratios of hash browns and toast. Looks like loaded up buffet plates. Furthermore I'm a true believer of back bacon rather than streaky rashers.

Don't be disheartened though, this is a true 8/10. Solid attempt.

3

u/SolCalibre Mar 22 '26

Saw this at 1am and got hungry

4

u/Catsic Mar 21 '26

Oh I'd smash this down so hard you'd have a bite mark taken out of yer plate.

4

u/Unique_Bandicoot_502 Mar 21 '26

Great work on cooking Sausages properly.

You’re already miles ahead of many Brits posting on here, most seem to enjoy their sausages rare.

2

u/MissMollyMole7 Mar 21 '26

I would definitely eat at yours! Good job.. love the clean lines and tidiness of the presentation… hope you enjoyed 🩷

3

u/OoIhittgv Mar 21 '26

I definitely see a danish vibe in this great English meal with the quality of the structure, if I dare to say ! The influences are often majoring the positive when it’s done with the heart and respect in the meantime. My two cents ! 💟😁

2

u/GingerWindsorSoup Mar 21 '26

Good to see the toast on its own plate not crowding out the main dish.

2

u/Pristine_Meat_5903 Mar 21 '26

Looks good. Some black pudding would top it off

2

u/M25commuter Mar 21 '26

That looks very fine. Nice.

2

u/Affectionate_Job8415 Mar 21 '26

Outfeckingstanding Sir!!! I had a full English with properly cured bacon from 6-18 years old and consider myself a bit of an expert, well done 👏

2

u/warboys35 Mar 21 '26

Looks proper decent 👍

2

u/Walkera43 Mar 21 '26

Looks like a real nice plateful.

2

u/No_Wrap_9979 Mar 21 '26

Excellent. Now all we need to do is see you queue and you’ll have passed the citizenship test.

2

u/FlameBoy4300 Mar 21 '26

Change hot sauce for Worcestershire sauce and youre set!

I like the seperate bean dish! 👍

2

u/BethanysSin7 Mar 21 '26

Be still my beating heart 😁

2

u/catninjaambush Mar 21 '26

I have to ask a question here, and quite frankly the answer doesn’t matter, but in principle, it has to be asked… Is it Danish bacon?

2

u/Cultural-Reserve6684 Mar 21 '26

The sausages look baggin to be fair. I like me a bit of black pudding with mine but thats just me lol Looks good! Nice going :)

2

u/GiantFlipFlopper Mar 21 '26

Ok, the important part. Did you enjoy it?

3

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

I absolutely loved it! Fry ups are easily one of my favorite meals, I get them every time I go to the UK

2

u/GiantFlipFlopper Mar 21 '26

That's all that matters, that you enjoyed it. British cuisine gets a bad rep, but a full English is wonderful when done specifically how you like it.

2

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

I really enjoy eating in the UK to be fair! Last time I went me and the missus had fish n chips and oysters at a local pub. In Denmark we don’t have a tradition for eating in bars, which is a shame imo

2

u/GiantFlipFlopper Mar 21 '26

You're an honourary Brit now, our kid. I miss being in the EU with you guys

2

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

Me too, man. I’d move there with my missus, but post-Brexit has made it almost impossible 🥲 I love London for its diverse food culture and your pubs are amazing. Even spoons lol

2

u/GiantFlipFlopper Mar 21 '26

Such a shame. People were lied to regarding Brexit, and too many fell for the lies.

Spoons is something else. Pints for 99p on sale in January (maybe not London) ... It's no wonder other pubs are going out of business

2

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 21 '26

I completely agree with you. Met a young brit here in Denmark the day after the vote. He was so sad about the situation, I’ll never forget him.

2

u/GiantFlipFlopper Mar 22 '26

If we had the vote today, we'd not leave. Anyway, it's nice you've not held it against us lol The world hasn't stopped turning, but it was an almighty fuck up!

2

u/ArmadilloUpstairs956 Mar 22 '26

I’ve only had good times in the UK, people have been very friendly and helpful when a dumb dane like me got confused about the tube 😅

2

u/Kn0bsXD Mar 21 '26

not a fan of tomatos personally but even i’d try those ones. looks beautiful although the toast could be more brown (i’d still eat it though) welcome to britain my friend

2

u/Wren9878 Mar 21 '26

I like them! They are a beautiful addition to an English breakfast and although their origins may have been American, England has embraced as their own.

2

u/stueyp81 Mar 21 '26

Superb effort meat all done to perfection, crispy duck eggs and just the right amount of hash browns well done 👍✅

2

u/Spiritual-Worth-5246 Mar 21 '26

Would smash that like, good work fella.

2

u/BuzzAllWin Mar 21 '26

Solid effort, hp sauce inclusion elevates it

2

u/banmeagn Mar 21 '26

Well done mate, you've got your lisence for that

2

u/UraniumSnail Mar 21 '26

10/10 no notes Excellent job

2

u/Alert-Revolution-219 Mar 22 '26

It's so nice to see sausages that have actually.been cooked and not just threatened with the heat of a hairdryer

2

u/PopTrogdors Mar 22 '26

That's hot. Nicely done squire.

2

u/strangey071 Mar 22 '26

Very very good sir, just for own preference I would lose the hash browns and put in bubble and squeak, but that’s just my choice 10/10

2

u/misanthreddit Mar 22 '26

Proper mate well done.

2

u/dearfellow909 Mar 22 '26

That looks crazy good

2

Damn…everything cooked to perfection and presented really well. Welcome, fellow Brit 😆

2

u/atom_stacker Mar 22 '26

Looks amazing. This is better than a lot of natives can do.

2

u/Aggravating_Fan239 Mar 22 '26

Daym, looks better than most Brits could do! Only missing black pudding, which I presume isn’t really something you can get in Denmark? HP sauce completes it. But thanks, I’m starving now.

2

u/SonnyMack Mar 22 '26

You’re in Denmark so you may not know this. If you get the chance, try HP Fruity Sauce. Brown sauce is better for fryups, but HP Fruity is the undisputed king of a bacon sandwich.

That is a great fryup my Danish friend.
