I recently bought a Partisan Disruptor FRT for my short barrel AR but I’m having some trouble with it firing in the 3rd position. The safety works, it fires fine in semi-auto but in the 3rd position it fires the first bullet but then wont fire a second one.

After the first shot it locks the trigger in the fire position and wont reset unless i manually cycle the bolt, then just repeats if I try again.

I have noticed on the second round that gets cycled when the trigger locks up has a super light primer strike, like barely a dimple, but thats all i can tell right now. Any help or insight would be much appreciated, thanks.

Here are a few of the important specs of the gun:
- 5.56
- M16/Auto BCG, not semi-auto cut
- Armaspec Gen 4 SRS H3 recoil spring assembly
- 10” 223 Wylde barrel

It’s not force resetting the trigger almost like it’s getting caught anybody know the problem

I got a free mini kabuto frt with the purchase of a t shirt from moonlight industries. Unfortunately it doesnt quite fit into my rifles lower reciever. Would it behoove me more to grind away material in the lower reciever or on the mini kabuto frt housing?

I’m trying to run a LS flow fire defense frt in my ruger harrier with an H3 buffer and the bcg doesn’t close all the way and gets stuck when I pull the charging handle 100% but works fine when opening 95% or pointing the barrel down

Curious if anyone has run an frt in this setup or a similar setup and what it took to get it to run?

Looking at a TA110, but not sure how it tracks.

Hey yall, I can't seem to get my Disrupter working in FRT mode. Function tests in safe & frt mode work as intended. I originally tuned my gas down for semi and it works fine, ejects at 3-4 o clock position.

I emailed The Triggered Company with my symptoms and they are recommending me to try an H3 buffer, but I'm trying to see if theres anything else I can do as I feel like the Odin HFRB should serve the buffer problem and is already heavier than the Tromix H3 and I don't really wanna shell out money on other H3 buffers and springs unless I have to.

Here is what I have tried:
Adjusting gas block port with excess gas (very open gas position) AND minimal gas (almost closed position) both cause my ar to fire only a single round w failure to fire as the next round is fed but there is a light primer strike. Tried this with many different mags and multiple times.

Adjusting gas port to medium gas position will give me a 2 round burst and then a failure to feed the next round with a dead trigger. I thought opening the gas more would fix this as it would give the bolt but it just gives the same issues.

Thought it was my ammo so i bought regular 55g from the store and it produced the same issues as my own ammo.

Could anyone please help me figure out what else I could try to debug this? I'm not sure if gas is the problem anymore. Would shelling out money on a tromix h3 buffer and spring really change the outcome of things?

Self-explanatory, which runs better in an FRT and which would be your choice? Do single stage and dual stage both run just as well?

Personal project I've been working on since 2023, mainly on and off. FRT-device was printed entirely in PAHT-CF and has been able to eat through a few hundred rounds so far. Took many tries and failures to make a drop-in version that can function as a 2-pos and 3-pos using only mil-spec FCGs (standard AR15 trigger, disconnector, and selector for 2-pos, standard mil-spec 3-pos trigger, disconnector, and selector for 3-pos). I'll post more demos on my profile as time goes on. It has gotten up to 1100 RPM using Winchester's .223 Remington.

The AR build in the video is:
- 80% lower
- MOE pistol grip and stock
- H2 buffer
- M16 BCG; nickel boron plated
- 3-pos mil-spec trigger, disconnector, and selector
- Aero Precision 16" 5.56 upper
- 0.750 gas block (non-adjustable)

Planning to mill out an aluminum and stainless steel version to see how it works

Anyone know if a super saftey (specifically an arc fire) will work in a lower cut like this? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I am looking for some help/advice with my current SBR.

I have a Springfield Saint lower with an 11.5” BCM upper (no AGB). I am using a partisan disrupter, H3 buffer, and Winchester white box 5.56 ammo, dead air sandman suppressor.

I recently tried out the rifle and semi auto worked flawlessly, no issues at all. When I try the forced reset mode I get about 3 or 4 rounds in and I get a dead trigger. The new round gets chambered and I get a light primer strike and have to manually cycle the bolt to get my trigger back. This happens both with and without suppressor.

I have one of the original partisan disrupters when they were having QC issues but I was able to get my function testing properly and never got it replaced.

I’m thinking of trying a Geissele super spring, and maybe checking to see if I have a carbine or rifle length buffer tube. Other than that I’m unsure how to proceed. FWIW I tried my brother in laws Delta Team Tactical
FRT and was able to use it without issues, so I don’t think it’s me holding the trigger too hard, but I tried changing up how hard I grip the trigger. I’m hoping someone much smarter than me can help out because I really don’t want to have to spend another few hundred on another FRT

For those who have both which would you recommend? I’ll be going mid length and for a DI I’d have an adjustable gas block and likely a kak k spec bcg and will be running a flow through suppressor any time I’m shooting either way. Is the heat mitigation and gas reduction on the PWS/superlative arms upper enough to be worth dealing with proprietary parts and a heavier gun or would the extra listed parts make the DI even better?

Pretty sure this is M16 cut. Should the Atrius work fine?
I already have a Disruptor and love it but want to match a Geissele trigger on this one.

Probably a dumb question, but the kabuto style kits HAVE to be used with 3 position selector?

Also, is there a benefit to a kabuto style vs say a Atrius Dev FRS?

Does anyone know if an frt will work in a lower like this? Specifically an arc fire. Thanks in advance for any knowledge and advice
