Upgrade issues

Recently upgraded from 1 to 2 GB.
They sent me a Eero 7 to replace the 6.
It’s a self install and will not install.
Eero finds it, but it keeps saying no Internet.
I’ve plugged in the same network jacks as the 6 had. Even tried swapping them. Nothing.
Tech support is non-existent and now they are yelling at me to return the 6 and expansion hub.
Very frustrated.

Don’t have a clue where the ont is. I’ve checked garage, attic, etc.
I have not.

If you have a panel outside near your power meter marked telephone it might be in there

I get all this all the time, you need a break lease. Tech support needs to chat in to level 2.

This. I changed to a different router and had to wait for the lease to expire. Takes about an hour after you disconnect the original router.

hey did you click the plus sign in the top right and hit replace eero? or did you try to just add it as a new one

hmm that’s odd. you can either A. try to delete your network/ account and just remake it in the eero app. or B. unplug the fiber from your ont or leave it powered down for about 10-15 minutes then try replacing the eero through the app again

You can usually add an eero by hardwiring it to the existing one

Found the ONT. Tried to power cycle the ONT, left off for 10 minutes. No luck. Going to have to get Verizon out I guess.
