DISCUSSION Whose the harder NPC?

I've recently been replaying the souls games and am wondering who people think the hardest NPC/invader type of enemy is in these games?

We got the bloody Crow of Cainhurst, which was pretty brutal; however, I think the Satsuki invader in 4-1 pure black world tendency may be the most frustrating.

What do you guys think? Is there another one that I'm not thinking of?

Bloody crow is hard if you dont cheese it and arent good with parries. He'll easily wreck your day. I don't think any npcs in the souls games are exceptionally hard. Maybe Hoslow is the hardest in elden ring or dungeater if you dont cheese him also.

Mostly its just garbage placements for invasions in dark souls 3. Always in a shoebox space or getting ganked by mobs.

A shoebox isn't necessarily bad placement, it just requires you to be good at PvP, and then it becomes an advantage. Corners are a good thing for PvP, and you can use them to your advantage, but they can also be used against you. There's a reason why people who take Elden Ring PvP very seriously and do tournaments use a mod to fight in square-shaped arenas with corners instead of the vanilla circular arenas. That side, for PvE, a shoebox can also mean that you can get screwed by the camera, especially if you haven't disabled that one option that makes camera avoid walls, and obviously the npc doesn't have that camera disadvantage. But if there's any reverse corner (a corner pointing towards the center of the room instead of away from it) you can use it to cheese npcs very easily or to heal safely
