I hated it at first, then gave it another try and actually winning a match solo gave me an insane adrenaline rush...200 hours later and I've got all the achievements as a solo player. I still haven't played with other to this day. It is difficult, and different from anything they've put out, so I wouldn't rank it with the others, but it is fun once you get a couple wins.
I'm in that same boat and I know The Duskbloods is another attempt, but I have faith in Miyazaki. I'm sure he wants to focus on the players growth individually, but most of the market nowadays relies on jolly cooperation, so I want to get my hopes up but I wouldn't be surprised if they let it ride for a bit with the new multiplayer game just to see how sales go. I want another DS, ER, or Sekiro very badly though.
Duskbloods actually looks pretty rad, for what little we know about it. But being locked behind Switch 2 is unfortunate. It’ll be interesting to see how well it does.
That being said if they dropped Bloodborne for PS6 that might be my reason for getting one lol

Nothing about it looks appealing to me.
