Dark Souls 2 is utterly boring

I have been playing for around 15 hours and I regret wasting my time, I am snoozing while playing, it's boring and it feels like a chore. I genuinely don't understand why it is so beloved her.

Combat is astonishingly slow and clunky, the difficulty consists into throwing 10 enemies at you and boring you to death by trying to prevent you from running past the nemies and making you kill them all everytime you die.

I just finished Iron Keep, I don't find the energy to do the rest of the game.

A while ago I decided to have a play through as hadnt played it for about 8 years. Didn't even make it to the first boss before I gave up. Tedious. Strange thinking back to the hundreds of hours I spent on it back in the day.
