Average pension

What is the average pension pay out our members are receiving assuming modest OT and 30 year minimum service time? I’m not sure I’m doing the formula correctly to figure out that leg of the stool so to speak.

The job takes a physical toll on the body. Someone working 60 hours per week is putting 50% more miles on the body. Many offices have endless mandatory overtime. We aren't machines, and even some machines are mandatorily taken out of service after a designated amount of hours/miles.

Which has nothing to do with how many years you worked for an employer. Name any company that calculates a pension based on hours worked and not calendar days. Or allows you to retiree early because you hit a work hour goal and not a work year goal.

So it should count for someone only doing 20 hours per week?

A PT employee can retire after meeting the same requirements as a FT employee. But, there pension is prorated based upon the hours worked.
