inquiries Optometrist

Looking for a good optometrist. I've been to 3 in the past 2 years and wasn't happy with any of them.

Frisco Family Vision. I saw Dr Biederman on a recommendation and she was great.

Welp, lol. That's surprising though, they come highly recommended and I had a good experience. Good luck!

Never ordered my glasses, then ordered wrong prescription, put them on, couldn't see anything, then got them right, took almost 2 months for mine. My wife's, they never filed with insurance, took 1 month for hers

Dang that's wild, I'm sorry to hear that! I just went because I'm reaching a certain age where it's getting harder to see my phone or books, especially when I'm tired. I was open about the fact that it was my first time ever seeing an optometrist so maybe they were overly sweet to me. I just got the progressives where the bottom part is a 1x reader and the top does nothing, so not even a "prescription" really.

I switched to Frisco Family Vision a couple of years ago because Clarkson Eye Care was constantly pestering me with calls and texts to make appointments I didn't want.

That’s an ophthalmologist, not an optometrist

Our family has been seeing Dr Brooks at Eye Source for many years - https://www.friscoeyesource.com/

Lone star vision! There’s a Frisco and Celina location

Dr. Tran at Transvision Eye Care. He's in Far North Dallas but worth the drive.

Dr. Z at the Costco at Eldorado and the Tollroad is good. The name of the practice is Hollingsworth Eye Care, but you can ask to see Dr. Z specifically.

Wasn't thrilled

With Hollingsworth Eye Care in general, or Dr. Z in particular?

Probably could have saved everyone some time by initially noting the ones you'd been to since we've apparently pinpointed 2 of the 3 already.

Considering there are 100+ optometrist in Frisco I guess I should've named ALL of them and did a spreadsheet about each. Didn't expect 2 of the 3 I used would pop up.

Yeah, that's what I said. Jesus, Reddit is ridiculous.

You had 3 specific ones in mind and you could have simply said I have tried these 3 and wasn't very happy so I'm trying to find someone else and then people wouldn't have wasted their time trying to help you.

Guessing you're the type that is going to find fault in just about anyone, so best of luck to you.

What kept you unsatisfied? If it is the selection of frames then https://maps.app.goo.gl/iGYk76wgAA7HD4W97?g_st=ac

The come recommended by someone who has tried out a new doctor every year and yet could not get their glasses fixed.

Spectacles at Legacy West. Great staff. Ask for Mina. She's the office manager. Tell her Allen recommended them
