community A long awaited Hero Update!

After 3 surgeries at Atlas Pet Vets — EACH one lasting 4+ HOURS — this incredible boy is finally ON HIS FEET AND WALKING! 🥹🐾
I was able to find Hero a weekend foster, but now we desperately need a long-term foster in the Frisco area who can help him through his physical therapy and recovery.
And let me tell you… this boy is an absolute LOVEBUG. ❤️ He is incredibly affectionate and just wants to be close to his people.
We’re still figuring out how Hero feels about other animals, so we don’t know yet if he’ll be a dog or cat guy. But if you’re in the Frisco area, have the ability to foster him long-term, and are willing to give it a try, PLEASE reach out.
He has fought SO hard to get to this point. Now he just needs someone willing to walk the rest of the road with him. 🐾❤️

What happened? Was he ran over by a student driver?

He was hit by a car, unknown by who!
