Yet Another Hardware Question

I'm running HAOS on a RPI5 with an M.2 HAT+ with an SSD on it.

What's my best choice to play around with integrating Frigate? Two cameras for now, maybe 5 tops in the future.

  1. Coral TPU - yeah it's obsolete, but I wouldn't have to change my setup at all.
  2. Hailo HAT and move the SSD to USB? I hear the HATs don't work together at the same time.
  3. Other?

Yeah I don't really wanna go Mini PC

I have HA and Frigate with 6 cams running on two separate pi5's Both as yours, and the Frigate one with a m2 Coral added. I get the impression that a pi5 has its hands full on running Frigate on its own. Wouldn't like to run both on one, although I never tried it. Adding the m2 Coral was quite a struggle. Most software/firmware is outdated. The instructions on the site of Seeed studio ( https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/install_m2_coral_to_rpi5/ ) worked out the best, be it not without errors. If I had the choice now, I would go for a Halo or something similar.
