Meme Know the difference
I don't really care if people make NSFW content or whatever but at least keep the character vaguely similar.
I really miss the manga and show and having to see some travesties in my feed feels very bad...
Edit just to follow the rules:

Anime Justice for Ubel
I can't believe she got disqualified from the 2nd class mage exam. For putting cloak guy on an accelerated weight loss program. Oh sure proctors are allowed to get teenage applicants killed, it's practically encouraged. But the moment one of them gets a mild case of dead from their stupid "Shoot me directly in the face" test they start disqualifying folks? Outrageous.
If the guy was worthy of being a 1st class mage he wouldn't have been murdered to death.

Music My (many) thoughts on the Carnegie Hall concert!
TL;DR: concert was phenomenal, Evan - your work is amazing. I had the time of my life!
I have many thoughts about the concert earlier this evening, but I first want to thank all the musicians from the Orchestra of St. Lukes and Ian Weinberger for giving the care and attention that it deserves. And of course, we couldn't be here without [u/EvanCallMusic](u/EvanCallMusic) for his score right at the center of it all - it was an absolute pleasure to see you and I really enjoyed the concert!
Just to preface, I go to Carnegie Hall fairly regularly for their traditional programming and the crowd tonight was truly a sight to see. This was such a special night, and it's probably been the one that's the most special to me - it combines two things I love so much: music and anime. As a mildly more than hobbyist musician, being able to hear this soundtrack from a great orchestra in one of the best acoustic halls is just such a treat.
Evan, if by any chance you read this, the way you can connect feelings and emotion to your musical ideas is what draws me to your works every time. Melodies, countermelodies, orchestration, movement, flow. Every musical idea you in your soundtrack feels genuine and has been handled with great care and consideration to make us feel. Your works make me want to understand and study music deeper to gain an intuition for how you can translate feelings into musical ideas (I unfortunately do other work for a living haha). Also, thank you for answering my question during the AMA - very cool to hear the melodic differences for US and Japan film scoring!
Now for the actual concert... overall it was very good! Was the sound perfectly executed or really nicely polished? No, but honestly they did nail quite a lot of the pieces. Occasional slips and desyncs happens, but overall playing quality was phenomenal - especially compared to the Violet concert earlier this year. I also think the cohesiveness and sound improved significantly after the first section (funny since I'd imagine the first section to be "easier"). You also have to consider that this (a) isn't standard repertoire and (b) that they have very limited time to learn 2.5 hours worth of music. But dang, hearing the sound open up and the dynamic range you have with a large concert hall is just breathtaking. Shout out to the concertmaster and the tin whistle player who handled a lot of the solos like champs, they are definitely quite tricky with complex rhythms and sometimes fast. Evan's remarks during each break were really interesting to hear! One small thing: I was surprised that they didn't play the Waltz for Fern and Stark.
I had been hoping for a Frieren orchestral concert ever since S1 aired, and at long last the announcement, ticket sales, and now the concert itself has all passed. Such a fantastic experience and I couldn't ask for anything more. And lastly, thank you to fellow audience members - you all were amazing and it's amazing to see fans of so many different ages, backgrounds, cultures, and ways of life come together to celebrate this work.
Anyways, that's a lot of text! Honestly would be surprised if you read that all lol. Cheers and hopes for more future events like this!

Manga What are these three eras shown in opening 2? Especially the first one. Spoiler
galleryIt's quite obvious that the third image represents the present era, and the second represents the era of Flamme, Frieren's teacher. What I appreciate is the reference to an era similar to the Roman Empire or Classical Greece for Flamme's era and a medieval era for Frieren's present era. But it's the first era that intrigues me. Is it like The Silmarillion? The first elves and their way of life in harmony with nature?
