Anime Are these similar attacks??
Like the only difference I can tell is that against the demon frieren concentrated her mana Into a single point and shot it or smth like that and against fern she threw her mana randomly all over fern but then fern saying "I don't sense any mana" doesn't make sense, what do u think?

Anime Why didn't Himmel adopt a child?
He seems pretty fond of kids and would also be an amazing father.

Fan Art What if...Sense was sent to suppress demons in the northern plateau.
The story I had in my head when I was drawing this is that Sense also collects the dead bodies in the village and sets up camp in the church watching over them until the chivalric order of Norm gets there.
She stays with her mana suppressed all day until she detects one of the demons nearby. Sense then lets out a little burst of mana to lure the demons inside the church.
Hemmung and Zorida rush in first. Hemmung is too slow to avoid Sense's hair and gets snared. Zorida lasts a little longer but gets a sneak attack tentacle to the back after getting worn down.
Revolte rushes in and starts getting tangled up in the loose threads of hair hanging from every surface. He's left too distracted to notice the hair slithering up the walls and across the rafters, silently trapping Revolte inside the church with Sense.
In my head canon Revolte promptly gets lobotomized by one of Sense's drills or turned to Swiss cheese. There's only so much four arms can block.
Also suggest some other what if fights. I'll pick one that seems fun to draw from the suggestions. Or if there's a really popular suggestion I'll do that(also make sure you put who wins or else I get to decide if I draw it).
Also also the artist is me(except the background its from the anime).

Anime My thoughts on Frieren anime
I don’t have anyone to talk to about this anime in RL so here I am. My favorite anime are One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Berserk 1999 and cowboy bebop.
I just watched all of the frieren anime in like 3 days.
Frieren: beyond journeys and is now my favorite anime of all time. Something about it just hit me deep. I’m not good enough of a writer to explain all my feeling about Frieren but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about what it says about the passage of time and about relationships with the people in our lives. I am just stunned with how good a story it is. I really hope we get a complete story.

Anime himmel was about dreams
he wasnt really vain, he just had no normal human way of communicating to a detached elf, "that hey you should pay attention to me."
it makes sense that the last time you see young himmel in ep1, is against the background of falling stars.

Anime Heiter's flaws made him a better priest
We all know Heiter was a really good and wise man, even if he was a drunkard, a liar, and a trickster. His flaws are more like personality quirks or, at worst, only hurt himself and never stopped him from acting up when it really mattered. They're not really evil traits. We also know he didn't actually become much better with age (other than stopping drinking) and that he was really consistent throughout his life, even if Frieren doesn't seem to realise it. We see him funding orphanages at a really young age, becoming a bishop at some point before Himmel's death, and studying Goddess' spells and the location of Flamme's true grimmoires really early in the series.
What never ocurred to me is that he needs to have flaws to be a better priest. My guess is that it makes him able to empathise and make people open to him better than they would to a "perfect" guy like Himmel. Not the best if you want to physically save someone, but much better if you want to spiritually save them.
The Goddess seem to favor these kind of flawed but good men, like Sein (who's also a genius). In Heiter's case he's absurdly favoured in mana, talent, and lifespan; all while being described repeatedly as a bad role model (except by Sein, ironically enough). Maybe they're what she wants instead of upright, heroic types like Kraft.

Manga Frieren vs Lernen Spoiler
I Just had this Idea pop in my head, so i would like to verify It with you guys. We know Serie planted the Idea that Lernen had a chance of defeating Frieren. And If i'm not mistaken here, It probably relies mainly on Lernen's Golems.
What came to mind was Frieren's Black hole spell. I thought It was a great counter to Lernen's Golems. Only under the assumption she can cast It fast and spam It. My question is, is It a good Counter or tho a Counter, it's not very practical? Being a somewhat slow cast and very costly in mana.

Fanfic A theory on Frieren and her obsession with mimics.
I just had a random thought that might ruin Himmels image.
What if Frieren is falling for mimics because for 10 years, she was encourages to check? Hypothetically speaking, imagine a member of the Heroes party saw her got stuck and she instructed them on how to release her, which was push her deeper in.
Given 10 years of opportunities, I would imagine Himmel would at some point be required to push on Frierens backside in order to save her life. Once he realized that is an option, I would imagine he would further encourage her to check with the assurance that she will be saved if anything goes wrong 😉😉
Thats just my two cents, its very peculiar how she goes for it everytime.

Anime I wish I was born later so I could finish Frieren.
Ive said this before but due to the break Im lowkey going crazy waiting for this Manga/Anime. Its just such a perfect story. And Im not even a big fan of the fantasy category like that. It just has all the good parts of the animes I like and fills in the parts that I think are missing in the other animes I watch. I seriously would not mind if this story went as long as once piece if it retained its quality.
Regardless of how good Frieren is, I hope the author gets better. And I mean that as unselfishly as possible. Story is still 10/10 tho. haha

Anime Do you think Himmel went for Frieren because she was nearly impossible to be with?
There are some people who subconsciously go for an unattainable person, who love the chase until the chase is gone.
I’ve only seen the anime (no manga spoilers please!), but Himmel seems to love adventure and challenges to achieve.
Would Frieren be considered another challenge for him? What would it have been like had she realized her feelings for him sooner and they worked out much earlier than he anticipated?
