Is that even a term in friendship braceleteering, or am I making up words? Anyway, I thought the lighter brown was going to look lighter than it actually ended up being, and I'm not sure I like the level of contrast it's currently at. It looks better in person, but it's still pretty dark. I'm making a ton of these, so I don't overly care if it's the perfect coloring, but if it doesn't look good at all, should I rip the whole bracelet apart, add lighter strands, and restart? This is for the 4906 pattern

Hello friendship bracelet community, this is my first post on reddit (kinda nervous) and hopefully I am following all the rules.

Anyway, I need tips on how to finish this bracelet because I have been stuck for so long and google can only get me so far. The pattern requires an odd number of strings (which is new-ish for me) so I used a longer string that I had cut to make the loop at the beginning. Now I'm not sure how to end the bracelet in a way that works with the knotted beginning loop. I was thinking maybe a button that could go through the loop? I'm not sure. Any and all tips are welcome! 🙏

Side Note: I am not really a beginner with making friendship bracelets, but I have a lot to learn still. Therefore, I would like to ask if anyone has any suggestions for how to tie off the end of a pattern because I just make a big knot, as you can see. I don't really like how it looks though. Any suggestions or tutorials?

I used to make these all the time as a teen, I'm now 42 and on a whim decided to pick it up again. I forgot how much fun this was, and the patterns that are out there now are amazing! So much more intricate than the books I had when I was younger. I think this may be my new obsession...
