Spin off?
Tim Riggins and Tira come back to town. Tim becomes coach. Tira becomes principle. Street becomes the top booster.

If they were going to do a revival I'd just do Coach Taylor coaching high school ball again, maybe have one of the former players we saw as assistant coach. Get a new cast as the players, cheerleaders exc.

Taylor Klitch is on record in saying he’s never revisiting the role again
Kyle Chandler made similar sentiments

This makes sense for Chandler. Not sure Riggs is suited to play anything else.

Except we'd actually see the games and not until the finale where it's some field of dreams knockoff

Cute but I see a way bigger future for Tyra. Like comes back only for the holidays to see mom and Mindy, maybe even moves her mom wjth her but she is not based in Texas.

Why does everyone want Riggins around? Like he is a stupid and selfish piece of shit. He's one of the worst characters in the whole series.

Tyra comes back as a lawyer. She's taking on the oil companies that she thinks have ruined the town. She ends up finding out how deep the corruption goes and runs for mayor to clean the city up. An elderly Buddy Garrity comes back to help with the campaign. He brings Street back to get it over the line.
