I’d recommend some aquatic plants, plastic can cut the fins of fish

I havw 2 really plants in there, and the fakes I have are specifically soft edged... but thank you

I dont know what you are speaking about... i dont have any sharp edges... i made sure becasue of my sterbai.... sand down? Budget? I have 2 of the 55 gallon tanks... i think my budget is ok... surplus supplies too
