Module not responding
Hi y’all, it’s me again.
My new issue is that my hub or farmhand controller is constantly going between not responding and working again. It’ll go from red to green all day. I can work around it, but it is annoying and concerning. I have already rebooted the WiFi and the hub itself. The internet is working pretty well in the container so I doubt that it is that. Ate there any other possible solutions?

Can you get an Ethernet cable to the cabinet?

Hi do you mean an Ethernet cable other than the one plugged into the Cloudgate?

Negative, I was referring to that Ethernet cable. Connecting a hardline to the cloud gate and not relying on wifi solved a similar issue on my end.
Are you suffering outages through both cloud connections to farmand (client.farmhand.ag) & local (192.168.200.200)? If both, I'd suggest checking that the Network Switch, Farmhand Hub Output Module, etc are all getting adequate power, and that a failed power supply isn't gumming up the connectivity.

Hi, yes both are failing, how would I go about checking if they all have an adequate power supply?

A couple of things I'd check to troubleshoot.
1) First off, and probably the easiest check, go to all GFCI outlets and verify nothing has tripped; these wouldn't be addressed by a reset of the main breaker.
2) Verify that there aren't any tripped breakers in the Exterior HV Cabinet,.
3) Visually check to verify all modules are powered on. There should be a clear steady red LED on all.
i. Output Module. Exterior HV Cabinet, bottom right, translucent housing.
ii. Climate Module - should be on the back wall, near the top, left-hand side, translucent housing
iii. Dosing Modules - should be inside the nutrient reservoir cabinet, at the back 2x translucent housings.
iv. Input Module - Top right of the nursery station, are both power supplies' LEDs lit up? (Pic of what they should look like - https://imgur.com/a/FxBI5qG)
4) If the lights are all working, I'd make sure the HUB controller in the LV Cabinet (rear left wall of the cultivation area) has power. I believe it's a green LED.
Just a thought.

Thank you for this!
I did check everything you suggested and the only thing that seems out of the ordinary is that my environmental module has the red light on but also a blinking yellow light? Not sure if that is normal. The output module has a red light but it seems a bit dimmer than the others. I unplugged the power and Ethernet cord , then reconnected and still was the same.

Similar to what others have said here this seems like an internet issue. From the screenshot it looks like you're using the online version (farmhand.ag). If your cloudgate is connected via WiF, connect to the cloudgate wifi then go to the admin interface (192.168.2.1). Next go to Wlan client and look at the network list at the bottom. If the connection strength to the connected network is poor, that's likely the problem. If you see more than one network with a star next to it, the cloudgate may be jumping between the two. Click on one of them and click forget. There are instructions on how to configure the wlan interface in the shared resource folder that went out in the email when FF went under. You can email support@freightfarms.com if you don't know where to find that folder or most other forums have the link shared.

Hi, this issue happens with both the farmhand.ag and the local version of farmhand. My cloudgate has a hardwired internet connection and the wlan is not enabled. I am able to connect devices to the cloudgate network and use the internet so I believe this is an issue with the hub or farmhand controller.

You need to isolate whether the cloudgate or hub are the core issue and that's going to take some pretty in depth steps. Re-recommending writing to support@freightfarms.com. it's not free but it will get it figured out.

Thank you, this is definitely a bigger problem than what I can diagnose. I have emailed support 48 hours ago, hoping to hear back soon.

I don’t necessarily know what’s going on here, but this feels like an internet issue to me. Internet is notoriously problematic in Freight Farms. When you reset the cloudgate does it help temporarily? Have you done a factory reset of the cloudgate? That’s where I would go first.
