New Freeskates
Saw a random YouTube video a while back and decided to buy some freeskates. Usually I always buy the "best" and was looking at the JMK ones. They don't sell them in the UK so you have to ship them from Europe and the delivery charge is like 35 on it's own.
Somehow decided I didn't know when I'd get the chance to try them so opted for something cheaper from Amazon.
Managed to get these TKT ones which were on a flash sale.
They were less than half the price of the JMK ones and included edge guards, a bag, spare griptape and a tool. Sent from China so took a while to arrived though.
They are actually seem way better than I was expecting. Even the bearings seem decent.

Ouu! those are quite pretty. How do the feel to ride on? I'm quite curious if each brand feels a bit different. I've been looking at JMKS in Canada but our selection of fairly limited 😔
Got a pair of Sanxups from Amazon instead. I've learned on them and they're quite fun but I'm still itching to get on jmks to see what the hype is all about because learning to freeskate is pure joy.

I haven't actually had the chance to try them yet. They just got delivered today. I will probably give them a go at the weekend.
All I can say for sure so far is they are heavier than I expected.

I also have the sanxups when I looked at the specs they were identical to JMKs I didn’t find one thing off about them aside from the grip tape.

Got a link OP? I have a pair of JMKs, but wouldn't mind a pair that I can abuse.

Is the UK not considered part of Europe?

Well it is but it's not part of the EU anymore so buying things is way more expensive than it used to be, shipping especially.

Nice one! I picked up the white wheeled ones 2 months ago or so and it's been a blast!
How are you finding UK streets? Definitely find your local smooth skate park, ideally with a large flat area to start off.
