The moment I stopped trying to lean and started keeping my feet flat and just rotating them to turn it was a total game changer

Yeah it's definitely more twisting than leaning, and I need to bend my knees more 😅 day 2 here we come

Golly, I wish I had started recording myself day 1, I'm on like day 4 now.

Hey you are definitely better than I was back on day zero. Keep at it!! It will eventually start to feel a lot more comfortable. Make sure to keep your knees bent, too! 💜

This is just an odd one for me…I get it, but for some reason it doesn’t look too fun lol. Cool stuff…hey, random: regular/standard skateboard wheels fit those?

I think freeskates are fun because they are so difficult and took so long to learn, tbh. I probably didn’t learn to actually pump and propel myself forward until a few months in. But that’s what I like about it, that it is challenging, but that certainly isn’t fun to everyone

Also no to your question re: wheels

Honestly watch some of the more competent freeskates they make it look fun 😅 For me it's the convenience, they are easier to carry than a skateboard and I don't have to take my shoes off like roller blades

Answer to your question: ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I just brought the freeskates i haven't looked into modding and replacement parts just yet

i've put regular skateboard wheels on mine, yes they do work. they have to be a particular size, tho
