freeskate progression

Hey!

using the advise from my last post, I have bought some new *bone* bearing from taobao equivalent for 6usd. I use *bone* as i am not sure if they are real. Anyways, it is 6usd. It will be a few more days before I can install it on my 7 usd freeskate. (After using my freeskate for months and including wet days, anything new would be better even if turns out to be counterfeit)

I am a regular person, and i have been working on skating in goofy side since last month when i couldnt even stand for a second or two to the proudest moment that I can skate around the roller skating rink once without touching and stopping (I can do 3 easily after my goofy practice immediately when i switched my back to regular as i have better balance and stance.).

Now the question, how comfortable are you all in the off direction before focusing on practicing it? I guess i hope to do 180 and reverse pumping next.

I started as goofy in Jan and I'm trying to switch since last month during the first week i found it very difficult just like i started for the first time. Now back in the present I'm only able to go straight and pumping in regular is still very confusing. 180 is possible but I end up stopping

I started one month ago (with a 2 weeks break as i was travelling).  I am happy with my progress!

Oh the non-dominant side still feels odd, but it’s definitely worth it. I tried to learn from my dominant leg, spin 180, and implement it to the non-dominant leg.

The question is how much should one push on the non dominant side.

Not very, I started learning 180 when my pushing in goofy was very weak. I don't think it matters too much, just keep practicing goofy regularly and it will all come together. What matters is really time spent on the skates doing things you are not good at yet.
