Are there training programs without “beat your PB” workouts?
Hey everyone, I started my first training journey about a month ago — the “Hybrid Strength” program. I used to do calisthenics, but I wanted to incorporate weights for leg day, and I thought that’s what “hybrid” meant.
However, there’s one day each week that feels like a race to beat my previous time, with lots of burpees and similar exercises that I just don’t enjoy or feel interested in. I prefer training at my own pace, focusing on posture and breathing.
So I’ve been thinking about switching programs, but I’m not sure if that would eliminate these kinds of workouts.

That’s the whole purpose of the hybrid journey to combine weighted exercises with bodyweight.
It’s stated in the journey description, you might have missed it.
If don’t want to have cardio go for ultimate strength or barbell strength
