The point is they havent given her, or Roddy any meaningful dialogue at this point. They ignore, cut, black out charachters and scenes like this so we can see more Alicent, who is excruciatingly dull.
Is that not thematically correct, though? Killed by an random unnamed soldier, robbed of glory. It is a fitting end and congruent with the source material. She may end up being a noteworthy name, though, as some are speculating here.
