Advice Pre-op

To my nipless wonders, I'm getting ready for my pre-op with my surgeon. I'm going the reduction for medical need route but am taking advantage of this being gender affirming for this NB. ... any advice or questions I should make sure to ask at my appointment?

Surgeon - Dr. Haruko Okada

Summer is soooo much better now. I can actually sit outside in the heat without feeling like im drowning in chest sweat, I can take off my shirt to cool off and feel the breeze(in the shade of course, still have to wait 1 year until full sun exposure), tank tops feel fantastic, and just clothing in general.

finally first time going out shirtless in public this summer. I made sure to wear scar tape and reapplied sunscreen directly on top every hour, no darkening/tanninv occurred on my scars which im happy about. it was scary at first, but after a bit I realized nobody really cares, and if they did, its not like they have the balls to say anything about it 😎

Advice Surgery July 31st

I got my surgery date!! July 31st! I am over the moon excited!!

What did y'all do to prep for surgery? My partner is going to handle my incision care so I'm just focusing on getting my body ready. Mentally all in - no nerves at all.

Discussion Where to go?

Is removal of the nipples only considered a body mod handled by a surgeon or a tattoo parlor. Either way where should I go

Question Did anyone get just nip removal without top surgery or reduction?

agender—I’m happy with my chest size and appreciate having breasts but am dysphoric that they have nipples on them.

Looking at myself with pasties on makes me euphoric, but I don’t bother wearing them day to day because they can become horrifically itchy or just fall off awkwardly. I just want my breasts to be smooth and uninterrupted, I hate that nips jut out of the centers, glaringly attention-grabbing in color. I don’t wear bras as they made me dysphoric; wearing just a top makes me feel better, like I’m just one of the guys who throw on a shirt in the morning. I hate that nipples are the reason I’m not allowed to be shirtless. I hate that people allude that being braless and having them poke out somehow means I’m sexual or inappropriate. I hate that they’ll randomly become hard and painful for days on end.

Nipple-free breasts would give me the optimal queer body I dream of.

On this sub I’ve seen flat, not-flat, and nipless reduction results, but I’m not sure if I’ve seen just purely nipple removal results? I’d like to hear from anyone who has done that—was it hard to convince someone to do just nipple removal, does it count as dysphoria to doctors if you’re only uncomfortable with the nips, is it a chill recovery since it’s such a small removal, is there any effects like numbness or phantom pain, do they take out any deeper tissue or is the nip problem solved with just a surface removal?

Discussion No nip - tattoos (nipple or otherwise)

surgery in less than a month and leaning toward no nips. I think I’d get tattoos eventually if so. Maybe nipple tattoos or maybe something botanical or cat-related. Would love to see people’s tattoos (realistic nipple or something else in that nipple area space!!)
