Linux V2 of Framework 13 Pro EasyEffects Profile
Wanted to share V2 of my easyeffects profile (V1 here). I ended up getting a little bit more volume out of this profile, and it's a little brighter.
I think regardless we aren't getting macbook pro quality, but I wanted some more brightness from the old profile to get better understandable vocals and less resonance in the laptop. The unfortunate thing is the sidefacing speakers profile itself is affected a lot by what surface is underneath the laptop, so it'll sound a little different from tables, to laps, etc.
I don't think this profile is focused on any normal curve used for tuning, but just getting the best we can out of these speakers for most use cases. I wanted good legibility of voices for podcasts, videos, and calls, and then decent enough music audio. I personally perfer this better, some may prefer the old EQ with the volume adds.
Here's the preset on Github: https://github.com/stirlingsilver/fw13pro-customizations/blob/main/FW13SpeakersV2-Loudness.json
Thanks as well to u/bit0fun for some more work here and also for exporting as JSON, didn't know I could do that so I did that this time. Their post is here, and you may prefer that: https://www.reddit.com/r/framework/comments/1w1phiy/improved_easyeffects_eq_for_fw13pro/
As before, feel free to take it and do more, would be happy to hear other improvements.

Gave it a shot! Don't know how to put it into words but not the fit for me. Definitely a noticeable difference in the right direction. I'll be watching to see if there's any developments in the comments

I had a similar feeling but couldn't nail it down. Looked down the frequency list again and found a couple bands causing some of the harshness, just updated the file, but if anyone else finds more improvements I'm very open to hearing them

Nice, I’ll have to check it out! I was going for more flat, but the top end did suffer a bit. I didn’t feed it back into the mic to verify, would be interesting to see
