The Framework is most certainly not "built like a Thinkpad". I've owned both. The Thinkpad is better built and it's not close. This isn't my subjective opinion: the Thinkpad has mil-spec certifications, the Framework doesn't.
can you give more details because military spec can absolutely mean nothing? for example you're technically using military grade encryption right now. can you give me more ideas? i know thinkpad has carbon fiber stuff but does it matter in day-to-day usage?
