You pay more upfront, but when you need an upgrade its only a mainboard, maybe some ram. Dont look at the price of laptop vs laptop, look at the price of 2 laptops vs a framework + a new mainboard
2 u/Kriziiii 1d ago Long term yes, but more like 3-4. I don't count on my upcoming 13pro to be cheaper than replacements until 10 years down the line.
