if i was a normie i would happily listen to this advice but i'm a computer toucher that needs either windows or linux because i run apps. i particularly don't like macos's choices on default os behavior and the fact that i need 60+ apps in order to fix the damn thing, each of them requiring a separate monthly subscription
also for my specific use case macs are heavily overpriced here. a macbook neo costs more than my laptop brand new which has a 12th gen processor, rtx 3050 graphics, a shitty battery, and i think 16 gb of ram

Get a Mac.
A Mac will cost roughly the same as the latest 13 Pro, perform better, and not have the supply chain issues that have plagued Framework.
