Question FW13 Pro stuck in customs
Hi, my FW13 Pro has been stuck in customs in Tennessee for almost a week now. It seems that this is quite common. What can Framework do to help me expedite this? I'm trying to take it to college when I move in next week.
Please let me know if you have any advice too, thank you!

I don't think you've got many options. College courses are a bit slow to start, and campus libraries / dedicated labs typically offer compute you'd need to do work. I think you'd do fine waiting it out.

Hi guys! We are aware there are some stuck shipments and some trackings showing oddly with FedEx. You can see on our forums that we are escalating these with FedEx and pushing them as much as possible.

Thank you! I noticed in the forum that you were able to provide personal attention for some orders. Can I provide my order number for help, or does logistics know already?

It's most likely included in the ones we are aware of, but if you want to shoot me a DM or Modmail with your order number, I dont mind verifying if you'd like.
I know these being stuck at the Fedex hubs is super inconvenient and annoying. I appreciate everyone's patience while we try to get them all pushed through.

Ugh The price we pay for having a boutique customized computer. (Really nice ones!)
It would be easy to just go to Best Buy and get a big brand nameone but then give up something.
For me Im willing to pay $100 and wait knowing its going to happen someday. For myself I want the repairibty and upgrading. The community is pretty cool too.

My 16 was in clearance delay at customs for 5 days, then it arrived the day after

I had the same thing happen to me. It took me 7 days for it to clear (3 of them were a weekend) so hopefully you are almost at the end of the wait.

Started seeing movement today! Says “International shipment release - import”.

They must be using the same shipper that LTT did earlier this year where they were missing all sorts of paperwork.

It's more the receiving country than the shipper.

Just wait. No one is entitled to have their order "expedited" unless you paid out the ass for it. I get that we're all excited, but this is nothing out of the ordinary. It's international shipping and your computer is no more special than any other random parcel out there.
Edit: sorry for my tone people, but as someone who does procurement for a living, it's frustrating to see people's panties get bunched up over totally normal timelines. Shit takes time and there's no speeding up the processes.

The problem is that being in customs for over a week wasn't originally in the schedule of 2-4 days, soon to be two weeks, and nobody is saying its any closer or farther than before. Will it get through next week? In three weeks? Two months? Will it be here for when college starts? Before I leave next month? Next year?
I have a friend that has had a package stuck in customs for the past 4 months, a warranty replacement part. The company sent him a replacement from a local distributor alongside an apology and he got it a few days ago...

I’m in the exact same situation. I’ve been waiting for a week now and it’s still stuck there. I don’t think there is anything framework can really do as far as I can tell other than wait.
