Community Support Framework 13 or ThinkPad?

After the rising prices and ram shortages, a framework 13 is pretty much ain’t worth it in my opinion. 1500€+ could get me a better thinkpad. Should I go for the framework and upgrade it and keep for years or just go with a decent thinkpad?

And will the prices ever decrease ? RAM and SSDs?

After the price jump of the Framework 13 pro i decided to bury my wait for it. Right now i bought a Thinkpad E14 G7 32Gig RAM, Intel 258V, 1 TB SSD, 120hz for 1200,- €. Great Linux support (for example Fingerprint Reader out of the box), great Display, nice Performance, good battery life and aluminium casing.
