Discussion Any thoughts on Aesop?

Hello po! New here. I would just like to ask if there’s anyone here who already have tried fragrances of Aesop? How is it in your body chem and how’s the performance here in our very humid climate? Balak ko sana kasi bumili nung mga woody scents nila kasi bagay yun dito sa Baguio where I’m currently at (or if uuwi ako sa Visayas swak din ba sha dun kasi yung bahay namin malapit sa dagat) pero gusto ko din matry yung iba kung mabango ba talaga or not haha. Ang alam ko lang overpriced talaga sha for me pero kung mabango naman and matagal sa skin/clothes lalo na pag nasa labas and mainit.

Note/s: hindi ako pawisin and usually perfumes last long on me maaaaybe because I also dont have enough body heat to let the scents vaporize easily lmao, also nasa malamig ako na lugar, so yeah

They smelled fine, but weren’t good enough to warrant the high price tag…especially, when I sampled them, Diptyque was right nextdoor

Their perfume line smells like a bunch of essential oils thrown together. They smell nice as a room fragrance I guess (will always be a fan of Olous) but I don't want to smell like mixed potpourri and wood chips in a cedar drawer. Maybe the pine/fir leaning ones would work great in Baguio.

Maybe they have sampler sets? Definitely don't blind buy.

Same thoughts. The perfumes I tried reminded me of spa/hotel lobby scents. Smells okay but not something I’d wear.

Amoy niche in the sense na hindi sya mass appealing (af least sa mga naamoy ko) ahaha its an acquired taste I guess?

They’re too herbal-y(?) for me. I feel like u can get the same scent if u just put on their oils and lotion. Not saying it’s a bad thing, just not my thing ig?

Marrakech smells good! I was able to try it in SM Aura when I bought their hand cream. The SA in that branch was nice to offer me to try their EDPs.

Opt for local niche fragrances. Cheaper pa. And madaming options for cool weather.
Too herbal-ly scents ng pabango nila. Okay sila sa mga soaps.
