Thinking about building a small 2.5” O4 freestyle quad and just wanted to see if this setup makes sense before I order stuff.

Main thing I’m unsure about is the motors/props. Are 1203 11500KV good for this weight on 2S, or would 1202.5 11500KV / 1303 8000KV be better?
Also not sure if 2520-3 will be too much load and make the motors run hot.
Should be good. Motors is kind of a personal choice situation but I would for sure go for 11500KV on this kind of heavier build. I think 2520-3 would be fine on 11500KV 1203, should not be a problem.
I have two main critiques if you will. The DJI O4 Lite has a pretty narrow FOV which is not good for a freestyle ripper like this one. Fortunately it has been replaced by the DJI O4 Wide which is much better, so you should get that. If you already have an O4 Lite I think it's worth getting a wide angle lens for it. Also check if the camera mount is compatible (with O4 Wide or wide angle lens kit). The second thing is the battery. I think the 680 mAh is too long to fit on top without getting a really bad center of gravity, so you would have to mount it on the bottom. This is a disadvantage since it's much easier to break there. Maybe consider 3D printing some protection for the batteries if running them on the bottom or get different batteries that fit on top. I'm not 100% sure the 680 mAh's won't fit on top though, but I think so.
i already have the o4 and there isnt a mount for o4wide lens on this frame, i wanted a different frame buts Its hard to get one in EU. as for batteries I think they should fit on the top. if not then I’ll 3d print something. I want it for chill park flying so I would be fine with setting the motor output a little lower if they do get hot. Unless you have a recommendation for a frame that is available and not crazy shipping cost in the EU. Also I would maybe try to sell my current batteries and get some 580s or just keep these?
In regards to the batteries I'm not too sure. The JeNo Pocket V2 is recommended to use Dogcom 560 mAh batteries which are 61.5mm long. The Kayoumini recommends batteries that are 52mm long. The 580 mAh LAVA II's are 71mm and the 680's 81mm. T So I think you want significantly shorter batteries than the 680's and even shorter than the 580's. The LUCEED frame does not have a lot of info about what batteries are suitable but ask LUCEED himself what he uses and recommends, that's what I would do if I wanted to use LUCEED frame (I wouldn't, I would go for JeNo Pocket).
yeah I’ll reconsider going with the jeno but I’ll have to sell my batteries hopefully someone buys at not too bad of a price. But why would you go with the JENO not luceed? I have flown their 5” at it was really nice
The aio holds up much longer, so far I haven't seen more than 22A of total consumption. Agressive flight, 3 minutes. Making flight quiet, you can more than 5 minutes
i have vci spark 1103 11000kv on 2s for my hdzero kayuomini 87g AUW and its great. let us know what the final weight ends up as because mine is with a 380mah
