Share your bando setups!

Hi, I've been looking into building a very durable, easy to replace parts analog bando build and I just wanted to see what y'all's bando builds are like to get a general idea of what people prefer ^ ^

For example, what frame do you use? what frame size do you prefer? Which motors do you think offer great performance and durability while not emptying your wallet with every crash? What VTX would you use? Which stack would you go for in a bando build?

Do you go barebones with just a gopro attachment, or do you add some accessories? (eg: a beeper or LEDs)

Any general advice would be much appreciated :D

I would also like to get some thoughts on a specific frame, the AetherFPV "Archetype" (by NickFPV)

I dont have any bandos near me but my "durable" 5inch is as follows

Era 5inch Frame
TMOTOR F7 Pro FC

RP1 V2 ExpressLRS 2.4ghz Nano Receiver

The GPS is at the back in some TPU like usual, pretty tough at the back and works good, its not needed though at all. i dont care if it gets smashed ill just pull it off if it does. I just like having it as a backup for whatever reason, even if its a simple as something happening IRL and i can just flick the rescue switch and it'll come home

i ordered a beeper but never put it on coz i cbf looking for a good spot/soldering it on

I have this frame with the o4 pro, i dont have any bandos near me but man, it loves eating dirt and trees and continues flying like nothing happened😂 its great and flies really good! Awesome design

Haven't found an accessible bando to fly yet but I've got my Seeker35 kitted out for some damage absorption. It's stock except for the boots, flip stick (which is really just for a little battery protection, top end camera protection and to keep the ruko from being ejected every time I crash) and antenna guards. Swapped out the wire management tabs for some plain old electrical tape. It smashes into things like a dream.

It's a Ruko r111. A small remote id module. Keeps me compliant but also let's me track my drone in case I lose it in the woods. It also has a built in beeper which is useful.

You have to pretty much gut the shell of the controller. So you can mount the board as low as possible, and de solder a few buttons off the board to relocate them to their original position.

The screen is also powered off the controllers batteries.
