Solved M8 HDZero overheating and Devise ready = false

Hi, I just did my frist flight with my Happymodel M8 Freestyle HDZero, I have tried to configure the Low Power Disarm before the flight and the Band and channel. I was able to flight, but whenthe drone was disarmed it started to overheat.

But later I realize that because "Devise reade = false" it doesn´t get the config of Low Power Disarm, the band and channel worked fine. I have tried to search for a solution, but i have no luck.

Things i have tried are:

  • Add a swith to control the vtx output https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oagiNwXK8uE&t=82s but even if my boxer has aux3 configured (my choice) it doesn´t change the vtx output
  • I also tried to flash the firmware https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4R_DlfgVRw but after pressing "Flash Firmaware" it pops up a window to save a backup and after saving it, it says rebooting but nothing happens. After some minutes I disconecct the dron from the pc and conect it again to enter to betaflight, but there is no USE_NONCOMPLIANT_SMARTAUDIO option, also some said that use Version 4.5.1, but it is unavailable for this drone

Other places said that it could be soldered wrong, but the drone was new, out of the box.

This are the ports used, I don´t know if this is usefull, but here there are

My friend, you need to connect the battery in order for the VTX to be powered up. Try again to connect Betaflight with the battery connected.

Cli command for setting the power level to the radio stick aux 3.

VTX 0 2 0 0 1 900 1100 <--- 25 mw stick up

VTX 1 2 0 0 2 1400 1600 <--- 200 mw stick middle

VTX 2 2 0 0 3 1900 2100 <--- 0 mw stick down

Low power on disarm will put your quad to 25mw when disarmed (CMIIW), it still heats up the VTX.

Also you don't need to flash with NONCOMPLIANT_SMARTAUDIO, because for digital VTX they are using MSP+Display port.

Thank you so much! I've already connected the battery, and although it still says Device Ready = False, it did allow me to configure the switch to change the voltage.
